Smoky, the new OP turret?

That is quite logical. Speed is very important for Fire, Freeze and Isida players (so they always use Hornet or Viking). What about afterburn rounds?

Very good against Long range enemies I would believe, especially those peaking Shafts

I definitely agree. Facing Smoky at mid-long range is never easy thanks to its steady firing rate, consistent damage, recoil punch, and critical hits/alteration effects that may throw players off. Beating Smoky typically means getting the jump on them (which applies for any enemy encounter) and/or attacking them from a far enough distance that would minimize Smoky's damage

Only Railgun and Shaft have a long range advantage over OP Smoky and Thunder.

Vulcan can compete at very long range with Smoky & Thunder - it too has 50% weak damage.

Yeah. I almost forgot about Vulcan because the overheating and spin delay are huge disadvantages. However, with the deadly afterburn alt...

Vulcan needs Isida more than any other turret in Tanki because of the aftetburn. The Isida must basically stick to the Vulcan and constantly heal him. Of course, Isida can run out of energy so second Isida is needed to heal the Vulcan while the first Isida is recharging.

2 Isidas for 1 Vulcan? Seems very ineffective. 3 Smokies or Thunders are much better.

As a strong smoky user on my Alt, it needs a small nerf. It's already been a great weapon and for some reason developers just added steroids into it

I agree. Smoky and Thunder are OP.

At low-mid ranks Vulcan definitely can use an isida - the fire modules available don't really help, and many don't have the funds to upgrade a heavy hull - too slow.

But once a Vulcan user gets m3 heavy hull and m3 fire module, it becomes a lot more self-sufficient as the module and extra armor reduces liklyhood of self-destruction.

My Colonel alt bought the Vulcan fire alteration, but I barely use it because 1) I damage myself more than enemies with ~ 28% fire module on a medium hull  and 2) I believe it has a 10% damage nerf.   Once I get Mammoth m3 + m3 fire module I will try it out again.

Yes, it has a 10% damage nerf. I prefer Titan over Mammoth, it is slightly faster. Mammoth has turret in front which is good for peek-a-boo but Vulcan usually sits in the open and just tanks everything.

Have Titan m3+ on this account.  My alt account has Vulcan, and I'm buying things I've never tried before... so Mammoth it is.
