Promocodes are not taken advantage of enough. They should be handed out for everything that isn't worked directly into tanki's coding. So basically anything that some deves or someone has to go into your account to add crystals or containers.

 

These could be tings like:

events

video/question/challenge of the week in vlogs

forum contests

etc (cant think of any more rn)

 

Basically this would create more opportunity for smaller youtubers and stuff to grow with giveaways and cause a slight balance to overall fairness of tanki. it is very small, but more people will be getting more crystals and supplies and stuff that wouldn't before and these would be coming at the expense of 'the rich'. 

 

Also, I also dont think promocodes are being used enough. what a cool program that is mostly going to waste except for a small small percentage of people. (ie like 40 for Youtuber TO and the twitch streams and very occasional youtube streams)

The main problem with this is that promo codes can be shared. So right now when you win a contest, you get a reward on the account you used to win. If you get promo codes instead, you could get the codes on multiple accounts and then use all the codes on one account, thus effectively transferring crystals between accounts, which is bad for the economy.

ever since my friend gave me @soviet.reunion i have bought 3 garage kits, 2 alterations and 1 module with promo codes i win from contests of all communities, and I'm just waiting for vampire kit to appear in the garage to buy it, i already have the crystals saved up for it. never spent real money on that account and also never even do missions on that account.

Promo codes can only be used once, so you can't use one on your main then later use the same one on an alternate account because it won't work.

it is once per person but.. what you can do is participate with many many accounts and win many many codes... and use all those codes on only 1 account
