Give 3 reasons why tanki is still a good game

Recommended Posts

1. There used to be 70% sales smh.

2. Good point. But now sergeants have more crystals than I have.

3. All my friends left the game.

However, I still think that this is a good game, although unbalanced. It still has potential after all these years.

My 3 Reasons:

1. Easy to access. I'm often on my laptop and I can always crack open TO whenever. I'm able to do homework and play TO at the same time this way.

2. Gameplay, pretty fun to play imo.

3. Amount of celebrations. The celebrations have been toned down significantly, but there are now more celebrations these days. Makes it easier to cheaply get an M4.

The topic is titled "give 3 reasons", not "criticise the 3 reasons given above"  :P

My three main reasons:

  • Simplicity. The game is very easy to pick up, has a simple ans straightforward interface, gameplay and controls.
  • Ease of access. To play the game you just need a browser, Flash plug-in (installed by default), and the link. Also, the fact that it's free to play is a major factor.
  • Clean and smooth gameplay. I like the fact that gameplay is relatively slow and easy to follow, compared to something like an FPS (First Person Shooter), which usually has a lot of quick movement and generally too much going on on the screen.

  1. System requirements are low (No need for expensive graphics cards).

It's maintained. New updates, items, celebrations, contests, tournaments happens constantly.

The game is easy. I mean you don't have to be very skilled and good to play normal battles, play without tension. (Unlike fortnite where winning the first game will take months)

1 low system requirements , even very low end or old computers can play it .

2 low player requirement , easy to understand and start playing . About all ages can play the game

3 Just plain fun . Drive around in a tank and kill other tank ... and if you get killed , just repeat .

1. Progression; This has always been my favorite aspect of the game. Gaining ranks and invest time in your upgrades. Buying your way into a desired combination feels less rewarding than earning it through playing. I remember my first M3 (tier 2) as it was yesterday. I now reached peak performance though with all my favorite turrets at M4. I can say that being maxed out this way gets boring and repetitive if you're a solo player.

2. The community; So to prevent the game from becoming repetitive I actively took part in the community and met some awesome people throughout my years in this game. I was clan leader, running a Youtube channel and did various staff roles. Being part of the staff was a wonderful experience. I learned a lot about the english language, by helping people out as consultant and chat + facebook moderator. I just wish we had the friends system back in 2012. I now have work and a busy study next to it but life was chill with this game around to kill the spare time I once had. Almost all the good friends I knew in my clan or as staff colleagues have left this game. The friends system remains the best added feature so far, in my eyes.

3. The controls; In essence this is a point and shoot game. One can't get a more pure example than Twins. I have always been a casual gamer and that's the main reason I still play this game. It looks nice and straight-forward. Maf already pointed out that it's less stressful because it looks clean and smooth. There's not a lot going on at the screen, which is what I look for as casual gamer. I often have jazz music on when I sit there in Silence Parkour battles for hours and hours just chatting and driving around.
