The vast majority of private battles were used to farm crystals and EXP, so that feature had to be removed. If you want to earn EXP and crystals, you can create a public PRO battle and quickly fill it before random players join, but there won't be EXP and crystals in private battles anymore. After all, if you're playing a private battle, then you're playing it for the sake of playing, not because you want to earn score or crystals.

It is funny because daily missions are much better source of crystals than power-leveling.

This favors players who are in clan because only they can quickly fill PRO battles. It is really not fair. They can Fire Wasp easily while I have basically no chance to create a battle, fill it with friends and tell them to equip Fire or Freeze.

I don't really see how clans give an advantage, unless you mean the clan vs clan option. Either way, one does need to purchase a fairly expensive clan license in order to take advantage of this. I doubt it's worth it.
