NOT good, Rico shouldn't be less effective than Twins. On the Russian forum, they released the full stat changes, and Rico will now have less range than Twins, which makes absolutely no sense at all.

I bet there is a change for Twins coming too  :D

What is the point in Ricochet if it's outclassed by Twins in nearly every aspect then?

 

Ricochet feels like it should be a medium-range turret anyway. Far too many strong turrets at close range as it is.

Yay, @Hazel-Rah finally realised that Magnum isn't 'balanced'.

 


 

Why in the world lower it to 9 minutes? Just because two digit numbers are too big to read?!

Yes, that is true, but part of what made Magnum powerful was its close range effectiveness, which has been decreased because you can't shoot as much. Oh, and you can't rely on splash to kill anymore

 

I have a feeling Magnum has been a bit overnerfed.

if players just  shoot at max power, their reload time will be smaller, increasing DPS. Magnum did not deserve this buff..it may not turn out to be a great advantage but Magnum already has a short reload time considering damage per shot.

I bet you are a Magnum-only user. Or you don't play battles other than format ones.

So nerfing Ricco ranges - by 30% - that's brutal! :angry:

I bought Ricco + MFS alt so I could have a medium-to-long range effective turret.  Now ruined.

TO already has enough "short-range" turrets... Isida /Fire /Freeze /Twins /Hammer.  Yeesh.

 

And lowering MM battles to 9 minutes?  What is the point?  In many battles players are not even "active" until 1-2 minutes into the battle?

Can players not even pay attention to something for 10 minutes? :huh:

lol 10 minutes were cool actually, sike because the battle mostly start at 8 minutes or 8/30 now it will start at the 7 minutes. gg tanki just keep reducing it till you reach 5 minutes

The purpose of that change is to reduce overall waiting times. The faster battles end, the more opportunities there are to get you into a battle from the queue.

All you (Tanki) is doing is increasing our waiting time proportion to playing time.  Currently I wait 1 minute (those avg wait time of 21 sec is a farce) to play 10 minutes (if I'm lucky).  Going forward I will wait 1 minute to play 9 minutes of battle.

 

By the above logic, if you reduce battles to lengths of 5 minutes, my waiting time would be approaching zero, or if I'm really lucky negative 20 seconds. You know - I gain 20 seconds of life for every battle I play. Healthiest form of entertainment - EVAH!

Rico skin doesn.t make sense, crocs are not know for spitting fire, venom or something like that.

 

The Strker doesn't make sense either. So I'm goig to receive damage even if the shooter doesn't aim properly. But I guess it needed a little buff.

 

9 minutes not good. It feels like Group players start fighting at start of battle will noob random players 2 minutes after start of battle.

 

Maps, lets see. But Sandbox should be removed.

 

magnum tweak sounds interesting, let's see how it works.

Magnum will be useless ......do more updates like that and no one will play Tanki anymore ...

Magnum is almost universally loathed.  Hopefully the update will bring it in line with the other turrets.

the faster the battle ends means no gold drop and got nothing more then 200 cry

one battle gives 200 cry I am not going to play this game more

no gold in 9 min,

no good battle fund

only star week for buyers

  • Increased the number of MicroUpgrade steps for M0 hulls and turrets to 1000. The overall price and time of upgrading equipment will be slightly increased.
    • Example: final cost for starting all Wasp M0 MicroUpgrades (without SpeedUps) is 1,000,000 crystals. After the update the number of steps will be increased 50 times, but each upgrade step will cost much less, and the final cost will become 1,111,111 crystals. Wait time is increased to 1 year per step and SpeedUp costs 19,99$ in the Shop.

they cant increase the number of running battles but reducing the time wow

my internet is slow it took almost 40 sec to enter and game is already gone 1.30 min

now

9 - 1.30 = 7.30 minutes

then u saw what modules or turret we equip for better result

garage opening time 30 sec

7.30- .30 =7 min

Alt Railgun can hit multiple enemies even without splash damage and is way easier to use with unlimited instant range

 

All the people complaining about magnum being OP take your railgun protection modules off and put magnum modules on

 

Make the protection modules not protect the players from their own turrets and that will get rid of the magnum module magnum garbage players

 

Problem solved :)

 

I will probably make striker my main turret now

 

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to beat a stupid ramming stable plasma twins with magnum even with 50% protection from twins on?

Stupid tanki making updates like this. I mean a few star weeks over a few months was fine but I think you guys are just greedy now. I mean a skin for $100? Even fortnite can do better. No wonder I barely play this trash game anymore.

You think it is easy for a Rail to line up multiple targets while making use of that "unlimited instant range"?  :huh:

How often does this actually happen?

A LOT less often than magnum blindly lobbing shots near a flag and watching the counter as it does splash damage to anyone trying to defend that flag.

 

Magnum can damage opponents while hiding in it's base, without ever exposing itself to danger.  Rail, as a LOS weapon has to at least come out of it's hiding spot to fire, and can be targeted in return.

wow finally XT skins for ricochet . my dreams came  true .. finally the wait is over .. OH WAIT FOR IT that over priced price tag that now goes along with it.. never going to buy it.. RIP my dream skin,

 

you had me in a fantastic mood until you changed rico what a huge blunder the dev;s made . its bad enough the GS system is garbage and should not allow paints or skins in the GS amounts, get rid of it. further more what now will happen to my baby seeing now my alterations will be less distance to shoot a rail gun , there is no way I'm going to be able to get a single shot . OH wait this is happening as we speak with this stupid GS and MM system in play.  DEV:S go back to playing in battles with regular players and not staff , then maybe you would know how the gun is really to be used in battles . we wanted it to be improved and not destroyed . I had high hopes of being on this weekend to get stars but now . it looks like i'm going to enjoy spending my real money on real items that will be enjoyed by me .. forget about giving real money to a fake game who cares less on what players really wanted for there garages..

Rico XT looks beautiful, when I first looked at it it reminded me of the grimms from RWBY.  :)  But ofc I will never find the luck to get it through containers nor the money to get it directly.

 

My first m4 turret got nerfed? Right. I was expecting it, but I'll see tomorrow how bad it is before I decide whether I'll make my way out of this game completely or wait around a bit more till something really awesome/terrible happens..

 

New MM maps are always welcomed, especially Bobruisk. Lovely map. I hope I can play on it tomorrow.  :P

Wow....... if they really did reduce the range of Ricochet by 30% then they should at least give it 30 shots before running out of ammo. Or how about never making it run out of ammo since freaking Twins is almost better than it in every way !
