As you said, you are not a part of our server, you have never joined it nor ever will by the sound of your post - so my point is, if you haven't even been there a single time, you have not seen what people do and don't do there a single time, then how are you making an assumption that some people there who proved to be extremely beneficial at the beginning of the server and those who helped us with moderation, answering player's questions and referring them to different topics on the forum or help site or in the server itself to get their roles/membership not be deemed worthy to get a separate role? That's one.

I clearly said that such people also exist in the chat, and there is reason why the chat moderation team DOES NOT give any special power/recognition/icon for anyone, along with the fact that some can confuse them for moderators (the latter part isn't applicable to the discord server I know). 

 

 

Hence, these special group of people take over the chat sometimes and answer people's queries. To eliminate the chances of someone saying "Oh! This guy is impersonating a moderator" or "He might be giving me a fake link!", we gave them a unique role to show that they have been selected by the moderation team based on their willingness to help others..

Again, there are people in the lobby chats who do the same while not even caring about any reward - since if you think you should be recognised for any help you did to someone, then you are just being selfish and not actually helping.

 

For the false link, if one does not know how to differentiate between a false link and a real one they shouldn't really be on such instant messaging services.

 

For the moderators statement, special icons are everywhere, and it is the fault of the player and not others.

Let me make it clear; you won't be moderating them outside the server and there are people who just have high heads just because they got a special sign somewhere else.

Well, by this logic the same could be said to the Best Helpers of the Month/Year, they already receive pay so why do they need an extra title at the end of the month/year? The same could also be said to the most helpful player nominations for the previous year. It's the same reason as stated there:
 

A group of dedicated, tireless and hardworking players, who took upon themselves to help fellow tankers every day.

If we see some being egoistic about the role, sure, we can tell him to act professionally, and take the role away if the situation persists but the least we can do to appreciate their efforts is award them. As I said, it's not about one's ego or the fact that they are being selfish in order to get the role, it's about congratulating them and telling them to go ever further.

Both of those actually deserve the titles, and they are given it after clear validation from sources.

Rarely I have seen anything being done for the egoistical attitude.

 

As for telling them to go further, it is rather better to have no incentives so that at the end the player helping others is only doing it for the selfless sharing of their own knowledge.

Hello.

This game is missing integration in Discord. It shouldn't be really hard to set up, looking at it from the programmer perspective.(yes, I am studying lol)
The topic title must be a bit confusing for some people,but the idea is really simple, if you know what Discord is, so here is an image as an example:

The status should display:

• Game (TO)
• Map and battle type
• Battle status(Loading, battle in progress, results screen etc.)
• Time elapsed
• Picture. Game logo when in loading screens, idle or any other window. Picture of hull, turret, paint combo when in battle.

Benefits:

• More people will notice the game in different servers(new players)
• Scout your friends in real time.
• Great addition for official Discord
• Get even more friends?!?!

Disadvantages:

• Why should there be any of them? xD
• *edit* it may only slow down a bit of game performance, but the impact should not be that big..

There are a few ways around this. However, in the end, the decision is purely yours and not mine to make. All I can do is provide alternatives; as given below.

• Window 10 Users:

  Windows 10 is arguably the best operating system out there at the moment. One of the great tools you get with this is the ability to have multiple "desktops" opened at once; this is used to organise your work and programs. Simply create a new desktop on Windows 10 and move the '.cmd' file to that second desktop. It'll be as if it's not even there.

   

• Start-up Files (All Operating Systems):

  Simply add a shortcut file of the '.cmd' file to your start-up folder — this will result in the file automatically opening as soon as you start your PC/Laptop, eliminating the process of opening it each time you start up your pc manually.

  Note: Your Discord should also be on auto-startup, along with the '.cmd' file(s) for this to work.
