Now that Smoky is OP, specially at lower ranks the game should tell us where we are being shot from.

Now imagine players playing Tanki Mobile, they just hear splat, splat and their hp goes down and down and they can't see the Smokys, I can't and I have a 15 inch screen.

Tanki is a load of absurdity. The current administration has ruined the game.

today I was enjoying my new improved magnum and everyone started calling me a hacker and all voted me.. a battle mod came and did not ban me, so they all started calling me a buyer for having m4 magnum at my rank even though my magnum is not m4..

I have never ever felt so much power in my tanki life before

If the time of matches is going to be reduced, then the cool down time for swapping out equipment and protections needs to be reduced too. With Match-making you never know what to best equip with till you see what map you are sent too. Especially when you keep playing and are moved to a new map. For example, perhaps you were started out on a long range map like Massacre, a long range map, so you used a Shaft set up with mostly long range protections. Then after finishing that you hit the keep playing button and Match-making put you in the Sand Box map, which is totally unsuited for your Shaft setup. So you switch to a short range weapon with short range protections, now you are locked in. Suppose you pick the weapon everyone is running protection for or protections for a weapon that hardly anyone is using? You are nothing but a moving target for 3 minutes, which is absolutely no fun. It's even worse if Match-making drops you into a game with say 5 or 6 minutes left on the clock.  You may be stuck with a totally wrong setup for that new map with no time to make a comeback. I'll tell you this, I'm bailing out in that situation. I'm willing to fight and even loose tough battles, but when I have no hope I'm not going to be someone elses punching bag. So to reiterate, with a reduced time limit for matches, you are locked into a setup for a larger percentage of the game, which is usually the case because the matchmaking system is randomizing which maps it sends you to. In order to offset the lower time limit for matches, and to have better more balanced games, the cool down for changing equipment and protections should be reduced to 2 minutes.

I agree. Moreover ALL cooldowns should be shortened in MM battles. Supply cooldowns too!

Devs might be making a big mistake tying Overdrives to Hulls. Remember Protections tied to Paints? Saaaaame thing.

Overdrives need to be implemented like Modules. Call them Engines or Motors or something. Sell them in the garage and make them Modification-level and MU-able. The company is missing a revenue opportunity here.

Well, the whole purpose of ODs is to make each hull's gameplay more unique, so that's the only reason they are tied to the hulls. Not the best strategy, I agree. But I guess it will work...

Sorry Maf, They should release the OD's as modules , if they are insistent on releasing them, and not tie them to specific hulls. It's only going to add to the frustration. People don't like being tied to specific hulls. Especially if they are forced to use a hull that they hate or have to purchase a hull that they hate in order to get the overdrive they want. Haven't you come to realize yet that people want the freedom to build their own set ups and not be forced into pre-configuired setups? The old protection scheme was hated for that very reason, but now has become one of the better parts of the game because they finally gave us that choice to build our own protection setups. This game will lose even more players if they do this release. Especially with probably the most popular overdrive being tied to the least used and least liked hull.

I never said that I like or support the idea of tying ovedrives to specific hulls, I just explained developers' logic behind it.

If they don't tie overdrives to hulls

  • then there would be no reason to implement new hulls
  • it would make the game more complicated -> for players and for devs (would it be possible to balance out every OD and hull combination?)
  • probably they'd need to remove the hull groups again (I assume they were built with ODs in mind)
  • Hazel once said, he wanted to make ODs for free to balance out p2w elements in the game
  • there is no further direct need for most tankers to buy more than 1-2 hulls

Exactly. Imagine a Wasp with invincibility and insta-kill driving into the enemy base and killing everyone within seconds.

I don't like the idea of Overdrives, but if they inisist, there could be Overdrives for Hull categories; so there couls be 2 or 3 Overdrives available for hulls depending on their categories. Maybe even make current Overdrive available for all categories.

But it would be better to remove Overdrives and Drones, instead balance the game by adding another Upgrade level to squezze the current 4 levels and maybe make equipment upgrade levels all available at the same ranks, I'm tired of Smoky M1+ fighting M0s.

Another "upgrade level" as in... m4 with accompanying m4+ ?

Do that and anyone below Legend that has to play Legends will be at a larger disadvantage.  The "L" levels really would need to be split into some brackets of their own to prevent a Marshall with m3 from playing a Legend 15 with m4+

I'm with you on dislike of OverDrives - they just make bad battles even worse for the losing team.

They do not help the losers make a "come-back" since the leading team generates OD even faster.

The whole overdrive idea for each hull is a mistake. We have one overdrive and it's fine, we don't need other OD's.

Some are useless, like seeing through walls?

Well it allows the entire team to see where every tank is, rendering ambushes useless, and it may be useful for Wasp and Hunter. Also, Hornet gets to ignore enemy protection modules for the duration of the overdrive.

Don't Legend-ranked buyers already do that with their recruit accounts?
