New overdrive ideas

WASP

Overdrive plants a bomb with a timer.

HORNET

Overdrive allows to see all enemies in battle. HUNTER SHOULD HAVE THIS.

HUNTER

Overdrive disarms enemy tanks for a short time. H-U-N-T-E-R?

HOW IT SHOULD BE

 

WASP = lll Ignores enemies turrets impact force and makes you 50% invisible. "RAID"

-EFFECTS ARE NOT SHARED

HORNET  lll Your attacks removes overdrives effects and removes drugs effects. "STINGER"

-EFFECT ARE SHARED ONLY IF YOU STAY CLOSE

HUNTER  lll Allow you and near allies to see tankers behind walls and show you their HP bar, "TRACK"

-EFFECT ARE SHARED ONLY IF YOU STAY CLOSE

---

VIKING  lll Attacks ignores protections and disables your turret own recoil, also ignores self damage. "BERSERK"

-EFFECTS ARE NOT SHARED

DICTADOR  lll Current one. "LEAD"

-EFFECTS ARE SHARED

---

TITAN  lll Push tanks away and gives u a full pushing power. "FORCE"

-EFFECT ARE SHARED ONLY IF YOU STAY CLOSE

MAMMOTH  lll Makes you inmortal, but decreases your speed. "GUARDIAN"

-EFFECT ARE SHARED ONLY IF YOU STAY CLOSE

There's no "right" or "wrong" when it comes to assigning different overdrives to different hulls. Developers decided to do it one way, you're suggesting another. Both methods are good. It's extremely unlikely that the currently planned overdrives will change, but it's possible that new hulls will be added in the future and some of them might have the overdrives you suggest.

I am getting scared of the new overdrives, it would change everything...

Amazing!

Imagine three tankers with Hunter/Shaft all three in one place at HighWays and one of them active his overdrive.

Attacking with 2 Viking + Hammer/Twins/Thunder/Rico.

Also must be more with Wasp "raids", but how will this useful in not ctf/asl battles?.

Hornet + Railgun  :wub:  disabling everyone.

Titan to attack ctf or... assault!.

Mammoth at flag or assault too omg.

the already planned ODs are good, but I would have your titan's JGR OD ability for hornet, instead of Heat Vision :unsure: but I think it shouldn't affect allies, you just asking for more trolls and mults.

Viking? "thanks to the increased rate of fire" what about Twins or Vulcan?

Heat Vision for Hornet is..... No sense, also its almost useless.

 

Wasp -> "Bomb with timer"? What a waste of OD.

A: Twins and Vulcan fire even faster, which is downright ridiculous.

 

B: why nonsense, why useless? It allows the team to see where every enemy is. Which makes all camo, ambush, etc useless. Very helpful I'd say. Also, Hornet's OD allows it to ignore modules.

 

C: Wasp OD is bad? It can easily destroy heavy hulls, and force lighter hulls to run or die, meaning if used well it wastes their precious time even if they dont die. Also, temporary area denial. And smokescreen. Also, imagine going into a base, taking flag, setting bomb, and escaping just as the defenders try to survive, and by the time they can return to chase you're already home.
