Artificial Intelligence Mode (AI)

Recommended Posts

If you're tired of versing high-rankers who drug all day and all night, what do you do?

Right now, there isn't really an option except go to general 1 and talk to a bunch of people.

So, my solution is that there be a new mode (Not exactly a new mode, it's more of a type of battle than a mode) called AI game (Abbreviation: AIG) and you would be able to fight CPU's from levels 1-10, 1 being smoky m0 and hunter m0, green paint and zero protection and level 10 being a pro hornet-railgun xt m3 with 3-slot protection and synth-pop paint. It's basically just tanki online but against AI bots who don't use supplies.

More important details:

You might be asking: Hm, well will I be able to earn exp in this? Let me explain:

Tanki will choose an CPU level that suits your GS so that it's a fair match.. You can play in other CPU levels but you will only gain exp IF you play in the level that suits you OR levels above that one.

Others might be asking: Wait so is everything just a 1 v 1 in this? No. I honestly do not know how it will work but I do not intend for all battles of CPU to be duels.

Please do not merge this with the topic "Tanki Offline" just in case you were thinking about doing that, why? Because this is different, rather than CPU version of the whole game it's just a type of battle.

Had this idea for a long time now. What if tanki had "bosses" like a lot of other games?

My idea is every battle there's a 1 out of 7 500 chance that a super-powerful tank will spawn: The Challenger. It's hull is really tall, just like dictator except, just like the juggernaut, it has a back section of the hull that is raised up against the front section (Google up juggernaut tanki online, go to images and you'll know what I mean). It has a shiny black paint and a single barreled juggernaut railgun as a turret. It's stats are higher than that of the juggernaut. High damage, speed of wasp, very high armour. The tank is controlled by AI. In the case that it spawns, the one who defeats it gets 1000 crystals. This is just an update for fun.

Declined

Developers pride themselves in the fact that Tanki Online is exclusively a PvP online game, where there are only real enemies. At the moment there are no plans to ever implement any kind of AI enemy in the game.

The boss enemy was requested for a long time and developers decided to implement it in the form of Juggernaut game mode. There won't be other bosses in the game.

True, thus the name Tanki Online.

Also AIs will have limited abilities and lots of glitches, due to the problems with coding and the limited options. As you can see from the Tanki tutorials, if you get ontop of a tank the turrets start to spin crazily. Also, these tanks will need some kind of sensors, and since tanki does not usually get the coding right the first time, I'd imagine going into an AI map would mean AI tanks randomly bumping into each other and causing a huge mayhem.

That is OK. Mults and noobs also bump into their teammates, they sometimes even flip them or climb on them...
