most (actually every one i can think of  ) became one after they were already friends with other ones...

so i feel as if the actual most important requirement isn't one that's written in the list of requirements.

Figures.

your job is to maintain order, and there is no order right now.

...Really. Considering what a toxic/unappreciative playerbase TO has, its absolutely amazing how orderly and well-maintained this forum is.

I just don't see how it is funny.

Its not. Guido doesnt really think so either, he just needs something to name his topic other than "The mods are bad bla bla bla."

for normal workers yes. but for people who work in a position of authority... is that so? ever heard of commanders partying together in plain sight of their troops?

First off, this is not the military nor is it run by the military. So your example has no bearing here. But in answer to your question: Yes, I have. I was Enlisted and have been to a few parties held by Officers in their homes and in the Officer's Club, Stateside and overseas. I've rubbed elbows with Lieutenants on up to Generals. I was a SSgt E-6. Nothing special. They get drunk and rowdy, like most at a party where the booze runs freely.

this is ridiculous. I was using commanders and troops as an example of people in authority. mods are supposed to have authority over normal players. that is the bearing.

there, you were motivated to listen to them because you wanted to continue getting paid. here... the people just decide to not listen and that's it. funny military you were in tho. i wonder, whatever you were, if you ever had any chance of being deployed to war. the one i was in, if my commander tries to be a joker somewhere during a mission we take care of him.

You have fixed nothing. The topic is still ridiculous. I think you're trolling and looking for an argument.

Despite the fact that alot of positive/negative discussion could've been done without causing anyone any harm, the topic is now riddled with provocation instead of criticism. We are not perfect, for obvious reasons, but being close to whoever we like will always wring the aspect of being with people who resemble you in more than just being human. This isn't a job, this is a service, and people should know that before they start mixing them up.
