The Crystal/EXP Ratio is Too Big Now

I'm a free-2-play and I actually have so many m3s (some m4s) that I don't even know what to do with most of my combos. It all started after I decided to come back to the game and then it was so easy getting above 500k crystals many times over and over again. There's actually no point in buying because as a f2p, I can actually get the same tank combos, the only thing missing are paints, where all of them except for 1 is useless (since u only equip 1 and that 1 is ur best looking paint). 

 

But it takes way too long to rank up now. It's actually painful and discouraging me, and other players, from playing the game since our progression is way too slow.

Make sure to get all your modules up to 50%. They're extremely helpful in battle. I'm really happy I took advantage of the module update and bought the remaining single modules for 50k before their price went up to 250k. On tanker's day I finally finished the last few upgrades and now have all at 50.

 

Nowadays I join a battle, check the enemy team and within the first minute get protection from the most common/dangerous enemy turrets. Feels extremely powerful and even much better than Spectre, which is mostly suitable for solo game modes only.

 

As for ranking up, I stopped caring about it now. I just play the game for the sake of playing it and don't really pay attention to my EXP (let alone organise rank-up parties and such).

2016: "We don't get enough crystals, the game is P2W!"

2018: "We get too many crystals, paying doesn't help!"

 

Seriously though, I have the same problem.

because Experience earning rate has been dropped in this year update, maybe 50% experence gain compared to old time.

 

so you crystal rate is same as before, but experience rate is half, that is equally to high than before experience to crystal ratio,

 

yes, good thing is you can earn enough before you rank up for better unlock equipment, but bad thing, you need to player double time to reach legend than before if you are a low rank,

 

for legends, it take double the time to earn 40k rankup award compared to before,

 

overall, it is bad update, you gain less in term of experience than before,

that is why recently my efficient rating finally pass 90,000, before that, your efficient rate hardly improve.

I were getting 40k xp weekly easily while now i get barely 3k on 10 accounts combined

I think part of the reason for it is the EXP nerf in team battles. You used to get 10 EXP x (number of enemies) when capturing a flag, so in a typical 10v10 Silence, capturing a flag alone would give you 100 EXP. Now you just get 10.

I can sort of relate with my wet diaper account. Now that containers are here, low ranked free players can obtain boatloads of crystals instantly. It's just too easy.

Crystals disappear when you start upgrading modules.

 

And then there's drones...

ALL modules? I think Thunder, Smoky and maybe Magnum, Striker and Mine modules are enough.

Well, the only ones I really rarely use are the mine, Vulcan and Isida modules. But even if a turret isn't very popular, there will always be the occasional situation when the whole enemy base is full of mines, or half of the enemy team is Isidas or Vulcans, so it's good to be prepared for that.

then why you complain about getting put into battles with legend 69s????

i dislike legend 69s for these reasons:

1. they own every single module at 50%. makes the game tooooo slow so the battles are never interesting.

2. they will take extreme measures to make sure a non-legend leaves their team

3. they have all m4s

 

in this topic, im really complaining about how I'm still a generalissimo, even though my garage would have easily qualified me for extremely high ranks 2 years ago, and progression is so slow that me, and i think other people, are discouraged from playing.

So crystals rate is higher than experience rate now? That's awesome for me. This means I will have more than enough time to get my product kits.

And the game will be long dead by the time you should have ranked up to captain.
