so from what i understand.. if some teammate on the other side of the map picks up a repair kit... my whole team will get a free repair kit that lasts 8 seconds?? and if he picks up double damage / double armour / speed boost then my who team will get 70 seconds of that drug.. after which our cooldowns would have finished allowing us to instantly activate it for 30 more seconds?

the dominating team usually picks up most of the drugs on the map so... i don't think even trooper drone can save the losing team from getting spawn killed cause 70 seconds drug effect is a lot more than 20 seconds drug effect from trooper

I some times over drive cause I think the enemy is my teammate, then if he overdrives because I overdrive, (which they usually do) I know its the enemy, and can put my overdrive to use, without wasting it.

 

 

I really like and enjoy this update very much. What I would like to have for overdrive color is to be able to customize and choose what color I could use for the overdrive. Green is my favourite color, so there is no complaint about that.

 

For example, what if I want to have my overdrive in a different color such as white, yellow, black or any other color? The answer is, "yes", of course, players should be able to choose what type of overdrive colors they want. Imaging playing in large team battles and each player equips a different overdrive color. That would be amazing, and it would spice the appearance of the overdrives of each player. Just like M0 alterations that changes to color appearance of turrets, there should be an option to change to overdrive color appearance to any color the player likes.

 

In Tanki Online it would be so amazing to change and customize many features relating to color.

 

For overdrives, for example, equipping and customizing a different color could also have a different effect on team mates and your tank, based on color. For example, a white overdrive could make you and your team mates become invisible for a limited time, whilst a gold overdrive could make your tank and your team mate's tanks indestructible for a while.

 

What do you think about my suggestion.

Since you are already rolling out this update....I am 100% sure there will be another update regarding these colors in future. 

 

IMO, this should not be even a priority feature.  Hope you are focusing on making Halloween event Fantabulous.

Until you get rid of MatchMaker, it's all just lipstick on a pig.

 

 

For me, having custom colors for overdrives is a priority feature, but like you said above, lets make the Halloween event fantabulous.

 

Maybe, the developers could release an update for Christmas that allows players to customize the colors of overdrives.

 

While we're trifling with the minutiae, why not have custom colors for barrel tips? And treads? And explosions? And add a spray paint turret to change the color of all the landscapes? No! A paint CANNON that fires huge globs of sticky paint that can immobilize the enemy! And add a dripper, so wherever the tank goes, the color leaks out and leaves a trail? Why not multi-colored exhaust!?? It would look like unicorn farts! You could add little flags to the tanks and people could paint their faces on them. And have a rainbow setting, so the colors change continually. And make it fly through the air, and swirl in patterns... and... and...

 

It's all lipstick on a pig.

 

Until you get rid of MatchMaker, it's all just slopping paint on termite-infested shack that's rotting from the inside out.

Mmmm I don't think so "buyers" will be dominating the battles,

because the Engineer drone extends the active time of "picked up" supplies, not the supplies that we have... so what's the point with buyers helping everyone in the battle? And for the Mechanic drone, it's not possible to "heal" the teammates whenever necessary, because of the batteries system, you can only heal them once every cycle of the battery, So it's balanced I think...

OK, teams really work together. Control the drops solo then. This brings more strategy to the game, and makes controlling the drop boxes important again.

2: What exactly do you mean? If you are talking about the unique overdrives for each hull, they havnt been released yet, but they are planned.

haha, this is the visual for the titan overdrive. Which mean the color change is targeted for the new dictator effect.

 

 

 

The dev to save the pain of uploading unnecessary data use color change on the same image file. For example the Railgun trail shot is only one image file, which is then modified to make the m1, m2,... color effect. Here they reused the yellow ranking effect and made it green (and for foe it will be blue).
