Invalid Overdrive color matches team

Basically, if you're on red, your OD is red. If you're on blue, your OD is blue. If you're playing DM or JGR, everyone's OD will be green.

The advantage I can see to that is if, for instance, you're on red team sniping, respawning, hiding  :ph34r:  and you look out across the map and see a red OD, then you know one of your teammates just activated it. Sooooo, what? What other advantages are there? You didn't elaborate.

There is a bunch of brawling players near you. Suddenly, someone used OD. You simply need to know if it was used by ally or by enemy.

very soon there's already gonna be 8 different overdrives... (7 hulls + juggernault) don't make it even more chaotic

at least with the different colours it is easier to recognize what effect has been activated..; if you make them all the same colour it'll take longer to finure it out

Apart from the answers to this above this post, I would also like to point out that the developers are ready to change the overdrive colors to green for teammates and blue for enemies. I believe that this color scheme makes absolutely no sense and seems purely random. I believe that if it was changed to your team color, it would be a lot less confusing and make sense.
