Should the Pro pass rank requirement be lower?

When I first saw this new feature I was like "Why this rank?" You have to be WO1 to open it. I have a lower account that is Master sergeant and I can access the chat. I can just click on a link and bam I'm in.

 

I go to the garage to find out that you need to be WO1 to buy the pass. Now I have to keep on playing just so I can buy the pass. If the rank requirement is lower, then I can be much happier. I want it to be lowered to Staff sergeant at least.

Main reason is to have new players get used to the MM system like in most other games. I do agree that WO1 is perhaps too high but we dont have any news of developers changing it too soon.

It should be available from recruit ! New players must also be shown the drugless battles, so they can chose between the crappy power up based gameplay or the skill based one. They now require wo1 to buy pro pass because, according to them, it made the game to confusing for a starting player. However with that update, they also brought the repair jack drug to recruit... They just want to make sure that new players only know the drugtard way of playing tanki. It's a shame really.

They want you to get more into matchmaking since this is where the containers are earned that fuel supply and drone usage. Containers also house the rare items that are advertised in the shop. All to encourage buying and there's nothing wrong with that since that's what this game needs to excist as free to play.

 

Pro battles require a pro battle pass and they don't give you containers. The last form of revenue is crystals but I don't think the developers like players earning crystals outside the matchmaking system. The way I see it is that crystals gained through the battle fund in pro battles negatively affects the game economy. If everyone were to do it, no one would need containers and might not see all the advertisements going around them, including the temporary XT-items.

 

The game is totally playable when you play purely in pro battles. You wouldn't need containers, supplies or even microupgrades; saving you so much crystals. But the game is doing a good job to prevent you from playing too much pro battles with all the missions exclusively done in matchmaking and also this example; where these fresh and untouched new players below WO1 can't taste pro battles.

I used to play Titan Shaft without drugs but after Shaft nerf I switched to Rico which NEEDS drugs because it can not snipe. After Smoky buff, I switched to Smoky and it is really OP with drugs but can not play without them like Shaft before nerf.

 

PRO battles are far better than MM because there are no drugs. It is more about skill and less about OD, repair kits and mines.
