Flash and Browser's updates

As time goes by the Flash technology will be less and less supported whatever the developers are doing with Flash, therefore players will have to choose among the available options:

* Install the TO Client (best option with many advantages, like faster load of map already played) - Link (from the download button on the game page).

* Play on a different browser (temporary solution - other browser will abandon flash too)

* Play on your curent browser but with HTML5 instead of Flash. See this topic HTML5? Flash? How to play Tanki Online on either version and follow the HTML link (make sure you bookmark it).

Current issue with Chrome:
Flash Technology is going to disappears and browsers security is improving. Chromes has chosen to disable Flash per default at each update.

Follow the following to allow Flash (until the next Chrome update).

I've thought about downloading the TO Client, but I've been reading too many horror stories about glitches, such as, not loading, dropping players from battle for no reason, unable to open it and many others. Most of the solutions to these problems, as I have read, is to uninstall and install again which will drop some personal game data. Which data, I'm not sure. Some sang praises of Client, while others say it's the pits.

I tried downloading Standalone Flash Player, but all I get is 1/4 of my screen is a silver frame with a black screen within the frame. Below the black screen, but still on the silver frame, are buttons for reverse, forward, fast forward and pause (stop). This looks like something for playing videos or music, not something you would play a game, such as Tanki, on.

I hate being a party pooper for HTML5, but that version is poorly optimized.

I've tried that, too. I seems it's still in its infancy and needs a lot of growing up to do.

I was just playing on HTML5 with my headphones on. The volume was set for the battle sounds. The audible sound that tells you when a supply is ready for use, blasted out my eardrums. I adjusted the volume for that but couldn't hear the battle sounds. I took off my headphones and discovered that the audible sound was rattling stuff on my desk (I have external speakers). Very annoying and harsh on the ears.

Another problem I ran into when using HTML5. While sitting in the lobby, I was checking out some of the battles. I clicked on a player who was in battle to see his profile and the drop down menu didn't appear. I tried a few others, same result.
