Rare, but I do see it. When I do, it’s usually same turrets - like Freezes with a gentleman’s agreement not to kill each other. I’ve seen this with Hammer and Isida too.

Oddly, Ricochet users seem to like nothing better than killing other Ricochets. Firebird users seem to behave this way too.

Maybe a turret ‘personality’ thing???

There's a default alliance between all the Russians in DM to kill all of the non-Russian players.

Which is based off a truth. Of course a lot of russians don't fit under this stereotype but it definitely applies for a vast number of russian players.

Saw 2 thunders teaming up together in DM lol, made me laugh. Can't believe using same turret as other person makes you automatically a team.

I saw a few railguns forming an alliance. Unfortunately for them they all had hornet and I had railgun module equipped + Double armor, and they just ran out of double damage. So I equipped my double damage and got a triple kill out of them. B)

All the time. Sometimes it's like for like, so a ricochet won't attack a ricochet and a smoky won't attack a smoky.

Sometimes it's friends as I was teamed up on just now by a hammer and smoky.

As a Rico user I always avoid killing other Rico users unless they're afk or attacking me, most of them don't attack believe it or not.

Hmmm, not what I am seeing but I may need to check closer next time I play DM. I fee like I often trade plasma with other Rico users but might be misremembering from the many RGB battles I’ve played lately.

Fire on Fire is definitely a thing though. It’s actually funny to watch two FB tanks approach each other, come to a complete standstill and blow flames at each other.

You ever actually tried this? DM is unavailable in Groups IIRC.

No I hadn't tried it, but when I saw members of the same clan or kids calling each other by name (usually school friends) I assumed they were grouping.

I suppose it is a good idea to disable groups in DM, prevents gangs of colonels with bought m4s, drones, and modules from coming in and murdering Wo5s

Last time I teamed up with another player in DM it turned out to be a disaster.

Another player asked me to team up with him. (this was a long time ago and don't remember combos). About half way through the battle, I realized I didn't have any kill score. I was whittling the tanks down and he was kill stealing. (This was before kill shots showed up in red). I respawned and caught up with him. He was trying to do a kill on his own, but wasn't doing very well, he didn't have much HP left. I thought I'd do him a favor and get that enemy tank out of his hair and made the kill. My partner turned his turret on me, did very little damage with each shot, but he kept trying and I let him kill me. When I respawned, I killed him to make things even. But he didn't take it that way. Throughout the rest of the battle he was gunning for me. The partnership had been dissolved.

Do take note though that I'm not that much of a large sample size lol, in other battles you may find Rico killing Rico everywhere, this is my own experience in these battles.

Yea the Firebird thing is very funny though, I've seen it before. They should totally team up and wreck anyone approaching them, but instead opt for each one and himself.

Used to, before the stupid MM I would team with friends or clan mates in DM, or get a bunch and do a takeover (ya know, join the losing team in a Battle and try and make a come back for them) but sadly Matchmaking ruined having any fun anymore in Tanki unless you play Pro Battles

If all Thunders and Smokies formed an alliance, they would easily mess with the rest of players.

I would think this would be worse for Freeze teams. Imagine a Freeze hiding behind every blind corner...
