Why in Barda red base is never protected?

It is amazing how noobie these CTF battles are sometimes, even at legend ranks (or also).  in Barda red base is rarely protected.  Most of the time team mates gather up in the upper square area at red side and try to shoot the enemy.

 

There are few other maps where either of the bases practically is never protected.  Nowadays i always leave those stupid battles.  No worth of wasting my time to those battles.    If you do not want to play CTF, then don't.  Go and play TDM instead.

Most of the time at lower ranks, you won't be seeing anyone defending. However, those who stay close to the base but not inside it are basically mid-fielders, who try to damage the enemies coming for the flag so that your teammates can take care of them later.

Or it could be boobytrapped with mines or a singular sentry hiding by the low pathway.
