Apart from 2x fund I don't see any reason why premium still worth it. There was a time when premium helps you completing daily mission specially gain exp. But with Battle point/score point update premium don't help in daily mission.

Doubling your crystals is a major bonus, and the EXP boost is helpful as well (And its the only way to gain EXP faster.) I do think it should contain an Easy Stars pass as well, but its quite good right now.

EDIT: Almost forgot that it gives you a reward every day, which is actually pretty substantial at the low ranks, and still nice at higher ones.

It's not like the pass is giving you an edge over someone else, it just speeds up the whole playing experience and buying items that everyone has acces to.

I still think it’s the most efficient way of spending money on the game (if that isn’t buying 700K+ crystals during a 50% sale for €35 when you have the bonus card).

 

If I spent money on TO (and I often wonder why I don’t when I’ve bought games for consoles / PC that I’ve spent much less time on), I’d upgrade at least one account.

 

The XP gain is also helpful, reducing the numbers of hours you need to play to get to higher ranks / equipment (I’m not going to get much higher because the time commitment is enormous).

 

Premium on my newest account would have given me an edge. 2.5K crystals / day for a month would get me to Smoky M1/10 at Master Sergeant instead of M1/5 (the cheapest Product Kits are so OP), but an extra 75K crystals every month is probably not a big deal at M3+ ranks.

It depends , i used premium before and it does bring a lot more crystals , besides the 75k /month , you also double up on every single game you play , so the more you play , the higher the benefits . You can plan a ranking up by the time next big sale comes , which you normally couldnt have done ( and have the crystals to buy the new equipment ) . It also brings you a daily amount of drugs more then you can use ( in my case ) .

Premium is a huge things for new people joining, it gives them a lot more crystals and ranks up faster + they can join pro battle with it like xp bp and parkour

Premium is good for new account no lifers who need double xp

 

Containers & missions (or only daily reward of premium that you got from a container) are needed for success

 

As soon as premium expires for no-lifers they are worthless without money

 

And some noob kid like me has 420000 crystals in  rank because of containers & missions

 

If you are legend - use premium. If not only use its daily reward.

Containers & missions are needed, but you need a bit of luck plus patience / not playing much to get a crystal surplus like that.

 

I'm about to reach on my fourth account, but I don't have that many crystals because of a combination of bad luck (less than 25K from containers) and deciding to have fun with the account instead of doing just one mission a day and nothing else.

 

at week seven is much too fast to build up a big crystal surplus from containers (have opened 12 from missions + 10 from a spare TX promo code), but I think I would find playing the long game a bit frustrating.

Well it was made way long before chain update so i were getting 3 weekly already at  and after the update 4 at 

I am forced to play a bit because i dont wanna reject xp missions with good crystal rewards but still 420000 crystals is insane for a non buyer literally collecting few boxes daily so i basically play for 5 minutes daily - now multiply that with 10 accounts and with 1.5 for having small xp missions at some times. Im getting around 28-36 containers weekly for playing 1 hour daily (sometimes i do skip few days)

I agree with this. I have wondered why it wouldn't be included.

 

Personally I wish I had purchased a premium pass early on. It would have made my journey into upper ranks much, much faster. The daily crystals and supplies would have been welcomed too. 

 

I think it is still a great value and the only thing I have spent money on. For what you spend, the return is great.

With reduced EXP gains I think the extra EXP earnings are more useful than before. Crystal earnings, not so much.

I think about this sometimes too. I didn’t go Premium until I’d already unlocked M3 equipment. What would Premium do to low ranks?

 

You would certainly rank up a lot faster and get twice as many crystals for your battles. But what would be the down side? I don’t remember the rank requirement for Premium, but at really low ranks, they’d really go by too quickly, I would think. But the real danger IMO would be spending crystals on stuff you shouldn’t be buying - like paints and second and third or more turrets and hulls. At M0-M2 extra turrets and hulls are really wasteful, but with crystals on hand, the temptation to spend them would be too great.

 

So where’s the sweet spot? I think M2 ranks, starting around Third or Second Lieutenant, maybe Captain. Those ranks won’t go by too quickly. You’ve already spend enough time in the game to know what is a smart decision, and you can start saving for those expensive M3s.
