Episode 189 of the V-LOG is live!

Actually - I really hope they screw this up royally - will push me to Pro-Battles for sure.

 

Just left another Match-Maker battle where after 30 seconds it was 6 tanks vs 2 tanks.

Battle after that... 4-0 other team with 3 minutes left on clock when I entered. LMAOROTF.

 

MM is a piece of crap. I suspect the "developers" (I use that term loosely) had 50 chimps in a room with keyboards randomly typing in "code". After 1 week Match-Maker was born.

I want to be constructive with my feedback - seriously, if we can complete those 20 missions any day of the week, most players will be just fine.

 

Heck I have family and work in real life. I make time for this game because I enjoy playing. That’s why we are all here. No, I can’t play a lot every day, but a couple times a week I can spare a couple of hours to play. Developers need to consider all player types when they implement changes.

If the 10 Missions Weekly Mission and the other Weekly Mission (exp/kills/etc) is not difficult and both give decent rewards, let's say 4 containers, then it would be fine for many players.

 

Then the 20 Missions Weekly Mission could be for those that play a lot for 2 extra containers.

 

The other Weekly Mission could even be an easy one that anyone could do it in a few hours on one day if needed. Or why not an intermediate Missions Weekly Mission instead like 15? Then 10 could be for 3 containers, 15 for 4 and 20 for 5.

You people are completely your own game cause you are just doing whatever you want, you don't give a crap about what the players are saying at all and just continue to do whatever the hell you THINK is best instead of actually listening to the players

At the moment when the new weekly mission is introduced: 

All current unfinished missions will be automatically finished <-- OK I understood this

The unfinished current mission chain will be automatically finished and reward will be given <---OK I understood this

What about the rewards of those automatically finished missions? Automatically given? Then what will happen to, if there is a, 3h premium account reward? Would it be automatically given while the players are off line? Something like if I have a 3h premium account reward on the last day of the current mission chain system but not claim  (or I didn't finish it but given), I then login at UTC+10 after the reboot with the new weekly mission system would I be told that "the reward has been automatically given at the reboot at UTC+2. It is expired". Don't tell me you guys never considered this situation.

Good points, but you can use the 3h Premium before the change or change those missions before completing them.

Besides the unknown nature of the missions - I have huge issues with Match-Maker.  The examples in my last post are just a small sample of what happens regularly. 

 

The "developers" don't seem to care.  They just spend more time on bells-and-whistles while ignoring core problems.

Seriously though, back when Alterations got announced the hype was huge, we all thought they would add new dynamics to the game play and make it more diverse, now they've literally turned into an excuse for Tanki to nerf a turret for no reason then add an Alteration that restores the old stats, complete.

 

Edit: oh c'mon "Profane abbreviations" are you kidding me? I already censor my self way too much, now I can't use abbreviations, censorship is out of hand

True in few cases but I dont remember old Freeze being able to switch off its freeze effect, Hammer having 5 shots or Thunder not having self damage.

 

This will probably be even less accurate once the new alterations are released.

True (though I have literally never seen anyone use the corrosive mix Alt being you can just use Firebird), but I'd be willing to bet that we'll get a Alt that restores the plasma speed to normal for twins, and we got Stable Plasma already. Though I won't complain too much if we get a self healing Alt for Isida, THAT would be quite welcome. and the two you mentioned are mostly used for Parkour, especially the no splash Edited by fordmustang12345

Not surprised discounts are 30%, but that's ok for what i'm planning to buy/MU. Double funds are great also, but the rest.... I hate playing DM, so you won't see me on the special map. Maybe I will take a look, but that's it. 20x Gold, dont care at all. And I won't even start about star crap.

Ive seen it before , and it was on the list to get this alt myself . Its very usefull and no its not the same like firebird . When other person got fire module , you can attack with 2 firebird , but still he got module . When you got freeze , the effect of afterburn is cancelled out , thus making it act on the opposite effect . When you apply the corrosive mix , you got 2 weapons attacking and no one cancels eachother out .

Not forget that freeze got big dps allready and the corrosive mix adds 10% .

On the other alts , hmm , they might be welcome but like others said , they just might return the weapons to a previous state and lets not forget what recent changes did to the prices of things . I would certainly recommend buying alt now , if you want 1 , since i presume a big pricehike ( like 150k or 200k per alt ) .

This new 'mission chain system' raises a lot of questions. V-Log information about it omits/leaves out (deliberately?) a lot of vital questions:

 

(1) Not a word about the weekly bonus in supplies and crystals. Will these disappear? I think they will but TO does not mention it

(2) Not a word about the way weekly chains are broken by not fulfilling a mission. Now on level 4 the weekly chain is never broken

(3) A lot of 'new type' missions means crystal missions will become less and less more frequent. Did you get that? It is implied but not told by TO

(4) I do not care about containers - 6 instead of 4. Another +100 nitro's or +100 mines? Naahhhh. Containers are overrated by most players

 

Finally, TO dev's should understand that there is a big reason why we are playing Tanki Online and not playing Tanki-X!

We play TO because we do not like Tanki-X!!!

So please do not make Tanki Online like Tanki-X, because most players do not like Tanki-X

Otherwise they would be playing Tanki-X? Would they not?

Unfortunately, the PRO battles are the only future left for the game. The containers are full of 125 mines and 125 speeds-up or with paints left from the World Cup. The price money for making the mission chains for a week can be obtained now as a result of 4 or 5 pro battles. So, why the effort for the mission chaines? The discounts are a joke. The over drives system will create great inequalities between the hulls. I can see through the walls? What a great advantage! In the same time the Dictator will have all the supplies active, but I will be able to see him coming for the kill !

IMO. less GB with more value is worse: less opportunities for less skilled tankers or with lower grade equipment than the rest of the players in the battles.

I would like to the the Halloween Graveyard map around longer. It looks like they are bringing back the 2016 map but this could just be a tease. 2016 or 2017 version, IDC, I would like more days of play, minus crazy gold rains.
