Wait, this is not the reward for completing 20 daily missions? It's the reward for week 10 chain, right?

 

My mistake.

each week you can get 3 weekly container. These 3 container will give you exact same amount of drugs and crystals like before. Earlier you can get max weekly reward by doing minimum 7 daily mission but now you need to do minimum 20 daily mission. Also now daily mission are even harder

This is exactly what I said in the previous page. I'm aware of weekly containers.

 

I thought what he posted was the reward for the 20 daily missions weekly container. But it's just the reward for week 10.

what happen if i complete 1st weekly mission in first day of week? Will i get the new weekly mission replacing that one or just 2 weekly missions will remain for whole week.

Only three missions per day...hmmmmm, not good.

 

I could deal with 20 missions a week...even 25 missions a week (not happily, but I could deal with it).  But I don't want to be forced to do only three per day.  Some days I can play a lot, others I don't have the time.  We were freed from the mission chain a few months ago, but this new system is even more restrictive than the mission chain.  After a bit of freedom, I think many players are not going to want to be chained to Tanki again.

Someone said they hate DM, I don't care for it either, but the real problem with DM is that I have waited and waited and waited for MM to put me into a game...it takes forever to join a DM game.

When MM was implemented I predicted 18,000 to 20,000 players at peak times by mid-August.  Tanki did a good job of creating events that staved off that onerous forecast...The War (really fun), Star Week (the first couple were OK but now they are a drag), a Crazy Weekend, and some other event-ish kind of things.  With all these events, the player base only decreased by about 20%...they only lost 5000 to 7000 players. 

 

Now, with this new mission crap, I think the chickens are going to come home to roost. Many players are not going to deal well with this new system.  And this new system is going to impact everyone in the same spot...in-game income.  If it gets too hard to generate enough income to be competitive, players will eventually just quit playing.  Tanki gave out too much income to keep players around after the toxic MM was introduced and now players are used to it...so they feel cheated if they don't get it or their income drops (which it just has to overall).  Lower income at a time when MORE income may be needed to combat magic hulls and a heard of drones.

 

I think a lot of folks dealt with MM over the last few months even though most players hate it.  Now with incomes trashed, I think the 18K to 20K at peak times may be optimistic.  My bet is that Tanki will see a 40% drop off from when they introduced MM.  It was about 28000 everyday at peak.  By the end of Nov, unless they do some modifications to the mission system, or pull another couple of rabbits out of their hat, I think Tanki will see 17,000 to 19,000 players at peak times...maybe even less.  We shall see.

Completing missions is not sustainable anymore: you'll spend more supplies completing them than the reward received.

 

Given that is not possible to be effective in MM battles without using supplies, soon F2P players will run out of stock and become cannon fodder.

 

Add that to the marvelous advantage given by new drones, and is not hard to guess that F2P players will have a hard time in this game.

 

Hope devs balance the things a bit, but seems that they embraced the P2W route all the way  :(

But if you just 10 daily mission per week, then u will get less than what you got from old mission chain reward, which only required you do 7 mission per week, and easier to do than now ones

Your nrs and my nrs are different . Before MM peak times around 30k , now around 23k , special event not included . Still a very singificant amount of 20% lost in a few months .

As an example:  Say I only do 3 missions in one seven day period (lazy).  The weekly reward slot will show "3/20 daily missions".  Will this be the same on the 8th day or will it reset to 0/20?

In fact, for casual players, it's a very bad update. Some days, I can't play, so I log in on Mobile and claim one mission. It was very easy to get 4 containers per week.

 

Now, it will still be easy to get 3 containers (Weekly mission 1 and 2), but it will be very hard to unlock the last weekly mission (20 daily missions) for the 3 containers.

 

You should really allow players to complete more than 3 daily missions per day (5, 6?)

Wow another bad update! weekly missions how boring. NOw i get to play rugby mission for a week nah think i'll change wow now i have assault for a week! what happened to freedom of speech? Ah that right it's a russian game no freedom of speech in Russia. No point complaining the Dev's don't care. Will someone with computer savvy bring out a new type of tanki that resembles the old tanki before it was a buyers game, a simple point and shoot game where rank, turret, hull were earned not paid for. Where you could play for hours, now that was exciting and fun....8 minutes is not enjoyable. I used to play for the love of the game now it's a dying addiction. A ns all addictions can be beaten.

Back when Gold-Mans was on Tanki, I used to play his long DM or CP battles. Like 5 or 6 hours in pro battle. And I was never bored. And it was like 2 years ago.

 

In 2 years, this game became really bad. I can't imagine playing the same battle for 5 hours now.

Question for a moderator...kind of important:

 

Will the "Complete 20 Daily Missions" tab reset every week or is it cumulative?  

 

As an example:  Say I only do 3 missions in one seven day period (lazy).  The weekly reward slot will show "3/20 daily missions".  Will this be the same on the 8th day or will it reset to 0/20?

 

It should stay the same, i.e. next week you will pick up from 3/20.

If this is true, and the 20 daily missions reward is cumulative, this update is not really bad at all and I retract anything negative I said previously.

 

If it takes you 1 week to do 20 daily missions, great!...you generate income quickly.  If it takes you 3 weeks to complete those same 20 daily missions you still get decent income...it just takes you longer so, overall, you won't get as much as some very motivated players, but you should be able to generate enough to stay in the game...and play at your own comfortable pace.

Tanki needs to do something about the long waits to join DM matches. 

 

This new mission system doesn't really lend itself to avoiding DM so you devs nee to figure out a way to make the wait time less than 1 minute to enter a DM battle.

It is for me. I'm not going to be able to play with more than one account any more, and doing 20 of the new daily missions is going to take much longer than doing 28 of the old ones (4 x 7).

 

I'm getting lots of finish 5 battles or score 1000 points in modes I don't like / struggle in (DM) and destroy 100 enemies etc., and I don't have the time or desire to do those.

 

Might be time to quit or just spend my crystals (have 500K on this account) and accept that I'm not going to make much more progress and play a few battles for fun at the weekends. And that might not be a bad thing, time is precious.

If Nives information is correct, and the weekly mission rewards are cumulative and don't reset every week, this isn't really a bad update at all.  It may take you two or three or even four weeks to get that 20 daily mission reward but you will eventually get it.  And you will get the 10 daily mission rewards a couple of times and of course the missons themselves.  

 

Even hard missions will eventually get completed no matter how you pace yourself.  If it takes you four or five days to complete a 5 battle mission, that's OK because you will eventually get it done and since there are increased rewards (containers), my guess is everything will probably work out to about the same as it is now even if you are a slow-poke like me.

 

On the ohter hand, if Nives is wrong and the weekly missions reset every seven days, it is a disaster and the game is doomed...at least for me it is doomed as it will be almost impossible to generate enough in-game income to stay a viable contender.

taking too much time off on holidays ,to think these missions could be done.

regardless if its a week or what .. not easy to do now.. we all know that majority of the containers will only have drugs in them and nothing special to battle for to complete weekly missions..

 

Anyone want my peanuts to make peanut butter with . seems the dev's have been collecting extra peanuts when they were on holidays..cause they sure like tossing them out to the players for there missions..DOWN VOTE to this new system..

bring back the old system..

What does that mean about "avoiding DM"?  There are a lot of DM-mode misisons?  Can those be "changed"?

 

Which of the missions rewards us with what we were getting previously by completing the 10-week mission chain?

If it is "Mission 3" and that can take up to 3 weeks, how is that not worse?  3x as long to get similar reward?

In 3 weeks before I could get 12 containers + ~ 27,000 crystals (not including daily rewards).

3 weeks now I can get 6 containers?

The 2 battery mission is lame but I look at these lame rewards as just a segment of the weekly reward...the daily reward is pretty meaningless, especially if the mission is easy like this one you got.

 

On the other hand 15 top 3s in a week is brutal...and, from what I understand, it can't be exchanged.  That is a very difficult and way over the top mission.
