New Missions, Drones Update

Just completed my two weekly mission.. and got 2 weekly containers. I was shocked when i did opened them.. guess what i got LOL in two weekly containers i just got 40 repair kits hahaha & 120 of three different supplies and now just imagine how much supplies I have wasted to compete these missions & the time ... its too much for me ... these tanki missions have become unbearable for me...plzzzzz roll back this update plzzzzz

I think the Claim button should stay.

 

For now we need to know when the current week is ending. I know it says that when you complete a Weekly Mission, but it doesn't when isn't completed.

Yeah I waste 70-80 batteries and many supplies to get only 10 batteries? Missions became very very tough and reward is reduced by greedy tanki.

7 battles for 1 mission is too much, that is at least one hour of playtime.

They are creating so much confusing among tankers.... certainly players will quit playing tanki .. completing daily missions have became headache for me  :mellow:  :huh:  :huh:  :huh:  :angry: they should add an option to chose between hard missions or the easy ones... this option will certainly help tankers & the game... if anyone want to do a hard mission that will be his choice

Wait let me explain

 

Weekly mission has 3 missions

1st one is a bit random and other 2 are to do 10 missions and 20 missions

 

So if we do the 1st mission in weekly missions section

The 2 mission in weekly mission doesn't increases

Why?

It's also a mission

 

The 2nd and 3rd weekly mission read like 

Mission:

Complete daily missions   3/10

 

Reward

...

 

As it's written there, you need to complete daily missions in order to increase the counter.

But the 1st weekly mission is a _weekly_mission_, and not a daily mission.

 

So at least the in-game descriptions match what the game does and gives. It seems to be intentional. If we like it or not, may be another question..

7 battles for 1 mission is too much, that is at least one hour of playtime.

Remember those 3 minute crappy battles? Awesome for new mission type.

 

Everyone. Abbandon your high accounts and move to pro battles. Make low accounts and do 10000x easier missions and additionally drive away new players.

I want to write so many thing about this new mission update that it can be published as a book. But I will only tire myself and TO don't care either. So I will summarized it.

Honestly, after playing 3 days in this new system, it's exactly like something I heard on this topic a while back, something along the lines of:

 

"The previous mission chain was too easy to maintain, and this new mission change is tanki attempting to correct that."

 

That's why I can't be angry or disturbed by this update. I'm just playing like I've always played. Just that I can't farm containers as fast anymore, which isn't a problem because all I get from containers are mines and double armors.

Just finished 10 daily missions on my lowest ranked account (), but at this level the missions are much easier (as in "use overdrive once", easy) than the old ones and completing three in two battles without breaking a sweat is common. Sometimes I have bad luck with containers, but I've got almost 50,000 crystals out of the last five (on that account) and people starting new accounts will be getting a big boost from not having to wait six weeks to get three containers / week (or earning double that from week one if three daily missions can be completed in two battles on most days).

 

But my higher ranked accounts (, ), and this one) are gathering dust because nearly all of the daily missions need at least two or three battles to complete. I've got "earn 250 crystals in any battle", "destroy 50 enemies", and "collect 15 boxes" on my account today (after a change) and I could probably do all of those in just three battles, but not every day is like that. I just changed a "destroy 100 enemies" mission on this account and got "earn 800 crystals in ASL", urgh. Not too difficult in a double funds week, but a slog in during normal time.

 

I hate ignoring those accounts. Even though I've got a lot of crystals on those accounts (between 400-500K, mostly from containers), playing (casually) without the incentive of getting many more just isn't any fun. And there's no interesting PRO battles at those ranks.

 

I was really worried about the new overdrives ruining the game for me and wasn't looking forward to moving in to the ranks where drugging is no longer optional, but I think I would have lost interest in the game sooner if I'd known about this update for as long as I'd known about the overdrives.

 

Logical thing to do is start again or just continue with the account, even though the account would eventually face strong competition from people that have earned more containers. But I don't want to play with just one account (which is probably what TO wants) and there will still be a point where I don't have time to do missions.

 

My heart's just not in it any more (plus drone / alteration proliferation)  :(

Funny thing is, I did exactly that about a year ago.

 

Down there you find enough pro's on their alternative account, so that each team has aproximately the same share of profession, but drugs are hardly used and drones are not existing. I do not hunt for missions there, I play them just for leisure.. but what should I say.. the game makes a lot more fun there.

It did not make sense to me to afford a pro pass on those accounts, and the matchmaking is a bit odd sometimes (M0 recruits vs. M1 firebirds are tough cookies). So actually you have to give those true beginners a bit of a chance from time to time, so that they can enjoy the game as well and yet learn something.

 

The earnings without missions are fine to sustain one combo, maybe a second one later on.. but at that time I suspect to have reached a rank where the game is less fun then in that beginner stages.

 

It's interresting, how this game becomes less fun for a free player the higher he ranks (if I may apply my learnings a a good share of the other free players around). Interresting, and sad, at the same time.

In a weekly container I got 3000 cry, 60 of each supply and 10 batteries. It's basically one third of the week 10 chain, but so much harder. I think this update is terrible and makes the game less enjoyable.

yes you don't accept ideas about removing updates 

but ever after the missions update ,mults are filling battles just for finishing them , they don't play and they don't help , they just get killed over and over and OVER

 

please remove those missions , they're just bad for the game and seriously , who on earth would play 7 assault rounds just for a stupid mission ????

3 minutes is legit for multing by rules so yeah i do "finish battles" by going to wc

I managed to complete some daily missions. Am I getting my reward automatically? The Claim Reward button is grayed-out.

 

If automatic, why "Claim Reward?" If not automatic, why is my Claim Reward button disabled?

 

This update on missions is the definition of frustration.

 

High-point requirements seem excessive. Isn't an average of 250 points per battle a pretty good average? So, 10,000 points for a weekly is about 40 battles, five or six battles per hour seems a likely rate for normal play. So, six to eight hours of play? Over an hour a day, every day, seems an unreasonable expectation of most players.

 

Again, this update of missions seems to be inteneded to promote slogging and grinding and frustration. That is not what I come here for.

It's normal for the game operators to sugar-coat bad updates by hiding them behind some temporary distraction, but I've never seen one with so much sugar coating - just look at all the things they've had to do over the last couple of weeks to fool you:

* Dictator XT skin
* New mission types (Finish Battle, etc)
* 9 new drones
* Halloween holiday celebration (map, holiday paint, gifts, gold drops, x2 battle funds, Firebird skin, star week, new animated paints, 30% sale)
* 30 new alterations
* Shot colour alterations


Just reflect on this next week, when all of that frippery has gone and you're left with your accounts that can't complete the daily missions or earn crystals.
