New Missions, Drones Update

I only played 2 battles today, 1 WO2 account, 3 missions done. My other accounts have missions I don't want to do. This week I'll only play with that account. Next week I may play with 2 accounts. Missions are too hard and I don't like Assault and DM.

Tried out the Lifeguard Drone again upgraded it to 3/20 it gives you about 363 HB once you take damage and there's 0 hope left. I gotta say, it doesn't really have a massive effect, but if you're carrying the Flag, Ball and you take critical damage it is a bit of a lifesaver, I'm going to keep upgrading it and see if it actually does any better, after I upgraded it I realized it wasn't that the Drone wasn't working it was that it only added like 50hp..;p

The new Mission System is eh, it does take a ton more of time to do them, can't say I've gotten better rewards in containers, it was the first week suspecting better this week.

Just got the most STUPID Weekly mission; Take one of the top three places in the winner's team in 15 battles...

I did only 2/15 in 5 battles. Finished all daily missions: 200 crystals in CTF, get 5 double armor and score 3 goals in Rugby.

 

I'm going out now. Playing again tomorrow.

Yeah I understand, "Take one of the top three places in the winner's team in 15 battles" is something that looks hard, but actually, according to me it's mediocre.

 

Because you have 1 week time, which is 7 days. If you play Tanki MM at least 1 hour a day then you would play at least 7 battles. So you just need to be top 3 in the winner's team at least twice a day. And in the 7th day, you would need to be top 3 in the winner's team thrice. 

So for daily active player's with a little amount of skill & supplies, it's not a big deal.

So any daily missions I complete this week won't be added to my next 20/20?

If you do 10 missions or less in week1...say 9/10, the 1st you do in week2 makes 10/10 & 10/20...the 10 missions then clears until the next week...so in two weeks the most containers you can get is 5 altogether...plus the blue weeklies of course.  

 

The way they have system set up as of now, the best is to do at least 10 or more missions in week1, then you start adding to 10/20 immediately in week2 and get a second 0/10.  This way you have the potential of getting seven containers in the two weeks.  ...disregarding the floater missions and the weeklies.

 

 

And if you just finished your 20/20 during week2, the best you can do in week2 is two more containers for you new 0/10...the 20/20 will be used up. But you still get the max potential of 7 containers if you finish your 0/10...disregarding the floater missions and the weeklies. 

 

I juust found that if you do 10 missions only in week1, the 0/10 mission does not get reset in week2...it stays "completed' through week2...gotta do at least 11 missions in week1.  Live and learn.

Now I think the weekly container must give more crystals, drugs in order to balance the use of drug. And you need to finish 20 mission instead of 7 to get same reward? This make no sense because 2 more container exchange 13 more mission, I think even 8 more are not very balance

Those are pretty easy missions - all things considered.

For dailys you have some synergy - and - at least it's not 3 diff battle-modes asking for 7 battles each (have got that) or score 2000 have got that.

And that floater of 10,000 score seems way easier than Top-3 (x15)

50% for winning team.  50% chance (at best) for top 3 in 8.

So on average math says you'd have to play 60 battles to meet those conditions.  8 battles/day.

 

How you figure "little of amount of skill" will get you top-3 on a winning team?  In that situation most players are vying for higher position, so it's not win-win.  You are competing against enemy AND your own team.

 

For casual players this is not in any way mediocre mission.  Now imagine multiple accounts getting that same time - happened to me.

I was away from internet and home due to uncertain condition in my country, so did my 20th mission today and now i have to wait for a week to get this again? really? very cheap system.. it is and this weekly containers give less stuff as compared to last weekly chain reward and now we play more to do these boring hectic missions. Not impressed

Agreed, if it took you 8 days to do a 7 day mission, you should not have to wait another 6 days just to start the next one.

 

I am in the same situation, unable to play yesterday due to road trip.

 

Tanki should implement a Minimum Elapsed Time rule on the weekly missions. Once you get one, you cannot get another one before 7 days. If it takes you 8 days, you have met the Minimum Elapsed Time and are therefore immediately eligible to start on the next weekly mission.

 

The current system, uses a Fixed Weekly Interval rule, which caused unnecessary delays in weekly mission regeneration.

Anyways.. it's another anoyance. The game would do well in avoiding anoyances.

I feel you Hall_of_Famer.  I got those exact three weekly missions when I logged in last Friday.  Since then, I've put in some time into these missions, and, due to my playstyle, I'm not even halfway done with the Destroy Enemies mission.  Despite this, I've been able to complete daily missions and am now 1 daily mission away from receiving 2 containers and 1 weekly container. 

 

Nonetheless, I agree with the general sentiment on this topic that the new missions system is more taxing and less convenient than before.

What is the point?

 

Just gonna keep playing less and less if I don't really have a chance.  Is this what Devs want?  Less players?

I think the average player should consider an average point score of 200 per match. Thus, a 2000 point mission is 10 matches, a 10000 point mission is 50. Three good matches and two poor matches left me with almost 1000 points. 250 average is too high. Few players will be able to maintain that high of an average of points per match over the long haul.

Weekly mission reward is same as daily mission chain reward after the end of every week. But now u have to complete 3 additional missions for that ,worst part is u only get 2 extra containers. After 500 kills and completing every damn mission u only get 2 additional containers compared to previous mission chain, seriously that's the worst update of missions.

Hey there. I have to double down on my opinion. If the purpose of the new mission system is to have players engaged more, how is it in either developers interest or players interest to WAIT another week before a player can even start :blink: progress on the next 20 missions?

 

Since I won’t get third-tier weekly mission credit for anything I complete before next week, I will not be playing much.

Don't force us to play crappy battle modes, but remove those crappy battle modes completely to get enough players to remaining battle modes.  Sometimes it makes sense to admit mistakes in battle modes and cancel them.

 

Show us some practical russian street wise thinking for a change.
