If you earn Weekly containers, and then rank up before you claim them, will you get the rewards for your new rank, or for the lower rank you earned them at?

If it pays out at the higher rank, then there's no need to claim them at all - just leave them as an index-linked bank account until you need to buy something.

Let's find out then about your theory. The mysterious daily mission disappearance.

I'm 100% aligned on the after and before, you must have confused me with someone else.

Just one request leave riddler out of this, I can't see what you are trying to convey with this behaviour, you usually have better argumentation to stress out a point, why stooping so low? Maybe the lure of having your name again this year here: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=367253

What's wrong ?

The rewards are drugs or crys

Not container

when you finish a daily container you also get a green container which contains one item , the blue are for the weekly ones which contains more then one item .. when  you finish those missions.. this is what I have been receiving .. feel free to correct me

Actually you get only what's listed as reward below the missions.

  • Your daily missions gave you supplies and crystals, but no containers.
  • If you check your weekly missions, you will see that each of them gives you a different number of [normal containers + weekly containers] per weekly mission.

Maybe the handout of "normal" containers for "weekly" missions, while there are items like "weekly containers", is what caused the misunderstanding.

I think so also , in the beginning it was easy to sort out, but as you continue on it got mixed up..

Thanks

All I see here is more complication to the game & more cost, if you could get me to spend more $$$$. But I have quit having fun & I have quit spending $$$.

And I have 27 accounts that I did spend $$$ on: but no more. My loss & tanki's

The "Claim" is now a pointless remnant. Every completed daily mission is automatically credited to your weekly mission total. The only thing it can do is harm you...it could be an automatic function at this point, but they didn't want to re-code.

If you don't claim a daily reward the day you complete it, it will still be there at the next reset so you can claim the prize, but in essence, you lose one mission because it won't add on to your weekly total since it is automatically added as soon as you complete it.

Weekly missions won't hold over to the next week. The rule in Neo-Tanki is claim everything as soon as you complete it.

I'm about to test this. Today I claimed a weekly container at rank 5, but I haven't yet opened it. It should contain 321 crystals (and a few supplies). Tomorrow there are new missions, and I'll probably rank up to rank 6 (in which a weekly container gives 428 crystals, etc).

So when I open the weekly container tomorrow the options are:

a ) I get 321 crystals (i.e. what I earned at the lower rank)

b ) I get 428 crystals (i.e. what pays out at my current rank)

c ) I have no weekly container to open, as the weekly reset removed it

So, what's your money on?

Clear drop in player base this monday.  Most must have completed their weekly missions and are waiting for new weekly missions to be published.

This is stupid.  One should receive new weekly missions immediately when completing previous weekly missions.

The DM are filled with vik/hammer and the hammer alteration double shot - they just ram you and shoot you at point blank.

I completed the rank-up test for weekly container rewards this morning. I ranked up to Sergeant, then when I opened the weekly container I claimed yesterday as a Master Corporal, the rewards were those for the higher rank (428 crystals, etc)

This was option b )

Austen Pierce correctly predicted this.

This is important to know. If you don't need the crystals immediately, then claim, but don't open the weekly containers until you need to spend the crystals.

Here's a scenario which makes this clear:

Assume I play 20 battles per week, and earn 200 XPs per battle.

I've just reached rank 6 (Sergeant), and I bought the Firefly Kit (Wasp/Firebird M1). I'm happy to stick with this until the M2 kits become available. I fancy Avalanche kit (Hornet/Freeze M2) at Rank 14 (Warrant Officer 4).

So I'm starting at 7,100 XPs, and my target is to reach 125,000 XPs.

As I earn 4,000 XPs per week, this will take me 29 weeks. I will earn 87 weekly containers in that time.

If I open weekly containers as I receive them, I will open 3 at rank 6, 6 at rank 7, 6 at rank 8, 9 at rank 9, 12 at rank 10, 15 at rank 11, 15 at rank 12, 18 at rank 13 and 3 at rank 14. This is a total of 78,030 crystals.

If instead I bank them and only open the 87 weekly containers when I reach rank 14, I'll receive a total of 108,750 crystals (over 30,000 more!), and that's just enough to buy Avalanche kit (price 106,830), using weekly containers alone.

So, I'll say it again: claim the Weekly containers, but don't open them - leave them in the bank until you need them.

Damn... Just got the weekly mission Destroy enemies 0/500. 500 in one week ? About 70 each day ?

I did only 11/500 in 2 battes to finish all daily missions (earn 250 crystals in battles, earn 400 crystals in CP and collect 15 DD). I'm out of this game for today...

If I destroy about 15 tanks each day, I'll finish that mission in one month ? Stupid update.

The mission was still there unclaimed.

I claimed it and the system crashed :D

Still I got the rewards associated with and the premium reward even if I didn't see it displayed.

Thank you. Tanki had previously told us that container value is determined when the container is opened, not when the container is received. I merely made the assumption that this also applies to weekly containers. It does make sense though. Developers don’t want to waste space with a lot of unclaimed container contents. In the current system, they just store the number of unopened containers.

This also means you can hoard containers until something cool is introduced. Then you can open a bunch of containers, increasing the likelihood of getting that cool item or at least some rare stuff.

They want you to have to buy more DDs after you use them up trying to get 500 kills in a week.  ;)

A new weekly mission just popped up. Score 10000xp points in battles. It appear in the first slot. Isn't that supposed to be the easiest of them?!?

Nah.  Mission1 slot - the floater - can be anything, and often is very hard.  3rd one takes a while - but is dependent on your daily missions.

Many find the "Finish Top-3 (x15)" mission very difficult to do. My alt account took 1 & 1/2 weeks (2 since they have fixed date for refresh) while this account is still trying to finish the original floater mission.

^easiest weekly mission is the middle one - FinIsh 10 Daily Missions. Can be done in as little is 4 days if you slog through every daily mission, or just by breezing through the easiest 10 daily missions over 7 days.
