Fix Matchmaking battles by choosing players through GS

The level and MU of strongest hull and turret of each player would count.

 

My strongest combo is M2 2/10 Titan and M2 1/10 Smoky. That means that if I took my M0 Viking and M0 Hammer, it would not help me at all because MM would count my strongest equipment.

You are 2 ranks ahead of my alternate account.  How is your best combo m2 2/10 + m2 1/10?

Spend all your crystals upgrading drones?

 

2 ranks ago I might have been m2 2/10 (2 complete combos) with ~ 6-7 modules at ~ 25%.

If you don't count those modules and your system places us in same battle - I'd be liking my odds...

Drones count for GS too... and skill is still more important than a GS difference of say, 500.

Do you have Smoky module? If not, you have a problem xD

 

I have lots of MU-ed M1 hulls and turrets. Some of them are almost M2.

Smoky won't be a problem for me.

 

I think other issue for you is the "lots MU-ed m1 hulls and turrets."  That takes away from MU-ing your m2 equipment.

 

And if you complete weekly missions you should not need to buy supplies. I think my Colonel account has 1000 RK.

K/D means absolutely nothing so... I have no issue dying unless I'm carrying flag or need to stop enemy from getting ours.

This could get easily out of hand, I mean if someone my rank has a GS of 3000... but has some extreme skills, he/she gets placed with warrant officer 1's... with absolutely no skills (Not insulting)... I have seen many players ranked HIGHER than me who have M1's (Mostly M0's) and their GS is like 1200... this is just weird.

That is great. My k/d is low because of my past mistakes (I started to use turret rotation just before a year, I used noob combos like Dictator Fire...).

 

Now I am trying to increase my k/d as much as possible (M2 Titan Smoky is ideal for k/d) so I would like to snipe you xD

I guess fixing team comppsiton in MM should be done by turret and hull modification. Another option to prevent cheating would be players can't change hull or turret ONLY once in a battle. Paints,modules,skins,drones and shot colors can.

As soon as you switch to a turret appropriate to the map, enemies switch modules so they have 50% protection against you.  Good luck.

As soon as you switch to a turret appropriate to the map, enemies switch modules so they have 50% protection against you.  Good luck.

Thanks, I really feel this is necessary. Every opponent freeze I've seen since December has been M2. Practically all the Isidas I see are M1 or M2.

Sorry , but I don't think this should be implemented.

Because let's have a look , I will take M0 Hull and Turret or M1 hull or turret at Legend rank ( If I have ) , Disable my protection. My GS will be like only 1k max.I will be sent with Strong team to balance but I go to garage and become powerful and unbalance all match.

If this should implement then ability to change during match in MMS should be removed.

People pay money to get good equipment so they can beat up poorer tanks.

 

This won't change.

This will, as when they have better equipment, they will be put up against people with similar tanks. For example, A WO3 can buy crystals, and a good M2 kit , say tornado. Now, with the crystals, he/she can fully MU his Hornet, Railgun, and Drone. Then , he/she will be up against Lieutenant Colonel-Major General, as non-buyers of those ranks have similar or same equipment. And these battles will also contain other buyers like him/her, along with the non buying Lieutenant Colonel-Major Generals.

Currently, I've been getting put in a lot of battles against legends. And playing with m3s against m4s who have 50% protection can get extremely annoying. Matching people based on their equipment/gear score rather than their rank would make for much more competitive and fun battles than the current system, and the wait times would not see a big change.

Could not agree with you more. I was just in a battle in MM 15 Legends(both sides) another Lt. Gen. a generalismo, Commander and 2 Marshals. It hardly seems fair from my pov.

Devs should make 'rating' with this formula: Level of hull + MU of hull + Level of turret + MU of turret.

 

M0 and M3 micro-upgrades would have value of 0,5 points (they are 20, not 10).

 

Highest possible 'rating' would be 80.

 

I have M2 2/10 Titan and M2 1/10 Smoky (my strongest equipment) so I should get 'rating' of 20+2+20+1 = 43.

 

This 'rating' would be always based on strongest equipment, not on equipment used in battle.

 

I would have 'rating' of 43 so I should face only players with 'rating' of 38-48.

Absolutely agree. A Lt. Gen. with smoky M3 at a rating of 5 out of 20 and a viking hull at 3. Should be up against similar equipment Not up against Legends withe same equipment but their Smoky is at 20 and their Viking is at 15. It just does not make sense to me.

Simply enough I'm tired of being pounded by M4s and M3 buyers, either make it based on GS (like overall based off what is in the person's garage not what they have equipped. they'd probably have to disable Supplies and Paints effecting GS to make this fair so people who just got a couple good paints and a ton of drugs from earned containers don't get paired with buyers) or narrow the damned rank limits for battles, seriously it's rediculous how unbalanced MM is compared to how good it was when we could just pick and choose what battles we played

I can't agree with you more. I just ranked  to Lt. Gen. I saved more than 400k in crys. So I purchased a garage kit "Paladin" Smoky and viking. I was abel to MU Smoky to 5. The Viking to only 3. That's out of 20 for both. Protection M3 is at 3. First battle in MM? Assault and 15 Legends. LOL. You can imagine how poorly I did. Something has to change in MM soon.

The matchmaking is a complete mess, wouldn't be surprised if it threw recruits with legends, but anyway.
Split the players by their gear score, something like all 0-1000 players, all 1000-2000 players so on till 9k-10k. 
Just 10 player groups. That'll mean if someone wants to test low tier equipment, he can without getting one shotted by firebird machine gun.

i have 36 times larger gear score, than GenBi, and he has to fight me, yet tanki are worried if they dont remove micro upgrade button from that dudes garage, he will quit the game.
