Are there any uses of dictator currently?

They uniformed the HP for hulls categories. Light/Med/Heavy Hulls. Which is honestly a sux thing.

To further distinguish hulls from each classification, developers could introduce a specific HP-range per category, e.g. -200<average<200. For heavy hulls, this would mean that Ares would get 3800hp, Titan 4000hp and Mammoth 4200hp.
I don't know if this range would be any practical and balanced, it is just an idea I came up with. It used to be the case with hulls back in the days and I liked the feature, every hull had their own characteristics; nowadays hulls are mostly distinguished through overdrives and speed - which is not a bad thing, but I would appreciate it if differences in health-points were to came back again

Yeah cause why would you wanna use Dictator when Viking has the better speed and Hunter has way better agility? And Dictator's hitbox is HUGE so its at a major disadvantage unless it gets increased health to compensate for the hitbox and reduced speed for a medium hull.

And Mammoth is arguably pretty useless in most MM maps because Titan's smaller hitbox and faster speed and better maneuverability make it far superior to Mammoth, especially since for some reason they have the same health, even though Titan is the leaner and faster hull and Mammoth is the bulkier one of the two.

It's the same problems with the turrets lol.

Why do Ricochet and Twins have the same exact range, even though Ricochet's projectiles have a much faster traveling speed and hit harder (more impact force and damage) than Twins'?

And the same can be asked for Smoky and Thunder. Thunder should honestly have longer range cause it's damage and reload are much closer to the likes of Railgun than Smoky is. Doesn't make sense why the big-caliber tank turret (Thunder) has the same range as the peashooter (no offense to Smoky, but it's a basic peashooter in the Tanki universe).

And why does Striker and Thunder do the same exact damage (880)? Striker has the smaller explosions and weaker projectiles, doesn't make sense at all.

Those are just some weird uniformed stats I noticed.

For my honest opinion I see them now are balanced with the uniformed HP.

But I just see it's a pale and sux and boring thing. Like I always criticize MM pool maps, I say they're very balanced and boring. We don't see Pipes like in Rift map (or old Atra), or Monte-Carlo with the middle leaps. Though they're not practical, and Rift pipes are hard to cross over. But now in MM it seems all the maps are causeways, battle ground is perfect; No fun.

This is a great idea that my friend actually came up with as well.

Not only would it make the game less annoying (cause overdrives like Hopper and Viking make this the case and so removing overdrives or nerfing the power of all overdrives down to a point where using them won't make you "GodMode" can also help reduce the annoyance), but it would also bring more "slots" for new hulls to fill.

Because right now, since all hulls either have 1000, 1500, or 2000 health (Mk1), there really is no reason at all to add a new hull (cough, cough, Crusader). In fact, we technically only need 6 hulls. Two would be 1000 health, two at 1500, and two at 2000 (Mk1). And each pair of hulls would be similar to the relationship between Viking and Hunter. One hull in each class is faster, the other one has better agility to compensate for the slower speed.

Dicta is a pretty fine hull and I have been using it a lot recently. Its hitbox is a double edged sword tbh, its both advantage and disadvantage, depending on the user, it can expose you to more fire, but it can also help you hit targets that would be impossible to reach with flat Viking or Hunter. The OD is pretty balanced I would say, it's not extremely OP, but it has its uses. You can either use it as an emergency repair and supply booster, or be a team player and share the effect of supplies with teammates to restore their supplies, health and boost a bit their OD charge. Dictator also still allows you to gain some extra experience from sharing OD (+20 points).

Lets not forget that Dicta is currently one of the two supercharge hulls. So by using it, you also get a short 5 second boost during which all your shots are critical shots. It's not long, but it can make a huge difference in hands of skilled player. For example, I got Paralyzing rounds for Smoky last week during the Ultra weekend, and with Dictator I can use the OD to force players to drop flags and balls or stun them when needed. And there are many other uses how the critical chance can be taken advantage of during supercharge, of course. Also another benefit is Gold Boxes. Hooper is still pretty much sovereign, but since Hooper is getting nerfed basically with each update, they are starting to be a bit more rare and give Dicta a good chance to cap Golds if that's the activity you like.

All in all, Dicta is a solid choice and I can go toe to toe with basically any other hulls in the battle. All depends on the user.

there are lots of uses for dictator. Its od, gives all supplies and makes u have crit shots for the next few seconds. It also gives u bp for every teamate u share it with. Ur od can also speed up your teamates od. Its height (as was already menchened) for cathing golds. I dont know why yall think its such a bad hull.

Since the previous patch, it only gives 20 bp if you share it with at least 1 tank.

I think Dictator is a very nice Medium Hull.

Pros:

It can give supplies, can heal, and give an Overdrive boost to its allies.

The Overdrive recharge is not bad.

People still use it to catch some Gold Boxes with its height.

It can push others well.

It maintains its weight well as well.

The speed is less than the other Medium Hulls, but at least it's faster than the Heavy Hulls.

Plus, if you share your Overdrive with at least one person, you can get 20 Battle Points each time! (Other Hulls don't give Battle Points.)

Ill have to mention the downsides of dictator to the 4-5 isidas I see with mechanic drone equipped in an assault game who just camp at point constantly activating their overdrives.

Cause thats real fun to play against. And if you play on their team. Psshh. Just hang out next to them and reap the rewards.

Sorry who said over 1000 score points in 1 game? Dictator. ... isida. Mechanic.

I cant say Ive seen it specifically in last two days, but its been going on for weeks now. Or longer.

Cons

  • Slow and hard to maneuver well
  • Easy target (enemies prioritize you)
  • Bumps into everyone and everything
  • Worst of the medium hulls
  • Can't even hit things ramming the side
  • Overdrive is a disappointment

Pros

  • Good for golds I guess
  • ??????????????????

If there are any pros please tell me, because I have dictator m2 right now and am debating between using that or viking m1, because viking is faster and health difference is minimal.

Door wedge.
