Selling the Legacy skins + Demonic skin is super unfair to those who played an unhealthy amount to earn these skins... especially the Legacy skin. To get Top10 in your faction for the war was super difficult and to then just sell it like it has an equal value to XT (worth nothing anyways) is ridiculous. It really holds no 'legacy' if you are to just hand it out like this.

Just wanted to clear up this misconception among many players, especially when a new (or old) CM is welcomed into the community. Community Managers, such as @Cedric Debono, do not get to decide sales, updates, new features, celebrations etc. All this is not the job of a Community Manager; they are simply not here to do this.

 

The role of a Community Manager is to act as the bridge between the company ("Tanki Online", "AlternativaPlatform") and the community it is aiming to create; a Community Manager is almost like a 'messenger' if you will. Although it has more responsibilities than just that, I'm afraid they do not include the ones mentioned above.

 

Therefore, @Cedric Debono has not 'ruined' anything, it is simply his very unfortunate luck that has led people to believe otherwise. I, as a fellow player of the game, really would like to give Cedric a chance. He has been away for a while and has recently returned, instead of (already) giving him a rather hard time, I would encourage the man to continue his work here.

 

It's only been a few days, let's welcome him into our family instead of blaming things on a person that hasn't yet had the chance to step inside the house. ^_^

their are more people who dont like this then who like this. even thou tanki did this because they are so fond of money and now they are ruining hard work of non buyers by removing mission chains and replacing it with fking challanges which also supports buyers.

Who ISN'T fond of money? The computer you play on costs money, so you had to pay those who built it. Electricity that runs you computer costs money, so you had to pay those who generate and provide it. This game you play is free to play, but those who program the game and the hardware to run it costs money, so if you aren't paying for it, who is?

Sir Nives has fully explained the responsibility of the Cm . what most of the regular players who have been here for a long time are fully aware of hoe it  works. first they had Xt skins in the garage which was fabulous for players cause this helped all players be able to own a XT skin. but since they removed it and placed them in the shop , this limits players from buying , in other words not many players have spare change floating around to purchase these items. even at 50% off it still not right for the non-buyers to purchase . even myself has stopped purchasing items in shop only to find them be placed in containers and receive these items for free..

 

so the message we would like this returning CM to send back to the CM departments is to remove XT skins from shop and replace the items back into the garage for ALL to be able to purchase with Crystals.. we understand this is a business , but even there prices are way too high compared to Tanki X ..

There's nothing wrong with that, your effort deserves to be rewarded with something exclusive and special. Just like all the players who were trying hard to earn the Firebird skin that supposedly was a one-time-deal.

 

 

 

I find it disgusting that they place these items in containers just like that. Legacy skins themselves are something else, they were here 6 years ago. Ofcourse it's not my company so they should do whatever they want but it's even more of a smack in the face for the old players from before the 1.100 graphics update. I was thrilled to see it re-appearing back when the war was on but not for long, It should never be earned by anyone but the loyal fans of this game. Now they can be simply bought; outrageous.

 

They will release all the pre 1.100 skins in the same way they did with the XT's: one at a time and available for a limited amount of time in the shop, to be ended up in containers... readily availble for everyone; only seperated by some stupid luck factor.

I have complained about this too, because developers didn't say that they will simply put the demonic skin in the shop, that's why i've decided to work hard to get it. But i think it's fair for those who didn't manage to play for this skin. You've paid time, others will pay money and some may find it in conts, so i think it's fair enough.
