Mildly curious as to what the XT pricing will be. Logic says that since they were available previously for $100USD, a Black Friday sale would have them priced between $50 and $75. My gut tells me it will be closer to $75, while my brain says a Black Friday price should be closer to $50. Worst case fear would be that Alterniva considers simply making them available constitutes a Black Friday deal and thus there will be no XT discount. Since they have said nothing about discounting the skins, only that they will be available, bargain hunters may be in for a rude awakening come Friday....

At low and mid ranks I have seen many XTs, couple of Demonics and no Legacy. But I don't play much either and the Legacys are hard to notice I think.

 

I think the prices for all skins should be the same, with no discounts. If they make it cheaper they'd lose their value.

 

I'd prefer Tanki making money with skins and Paints instead of ruining balance, which already is pretty bad.

Did you expect something different from a failing business?  :lol: A lot of the revenue was lost when a large amount of the players left the game due to, instabilities/too many unwanted additions and gameplay. we wont go into things like server merges/overdrives/players not feeling valued/match making/glitches and bugs/unfair teams/mults/hackers/russian in-game chat/ broken vote system/being kicked for inactivity when you havn't had a chance to load in.... *takes breath... could probably keep going and going  :rolleyes:  :ph34r:

Kind of backs up the idea that tanki doesn't care about the players any more, if they did, they would understand that people actually worked hard through the lags, hackers and server maintenance. But if they can make a quick buck 'Who cares'?

It's an old explanation, but it's also really true. Don't disregard this before you read my reasoning, please. Keep an open mind.

 

To start, we've gone over the fact that Tanki needs to sell things to survive. If Tanki doesn't sell skins and cosmetics, what would you rather have them sell? Like, no joke. There's not much else they could sell (Unless I'm just really uncreative, which I have been told before). Would you rather have them sell brand-new shop-only turrets or hulls? Shop-only alterations? I don't think so. Now, that would be the prime example of Tanki not caring about their playerbase. Cosmetics don't do anything other than make your tank look nice, so props to Tanki to making new skins. These things need to have appeal to them; who wants to buy something bland? Things like the Demonic skin that were once a one-time thing now become prized possessions. By buying the skin, you can join the club of people who actually won the skin, even if you didn't do any work. Good advertising right there. 

 

And honestly, the group of people that are so proud of their veteran-ship... Most of you are dissing Tanki right now. I wouldn't exactly be proud of being addicted to such a (self-admittedly) terrible game for so long.
