okay CMs don't have direct control to do sales... but they sure can request them. so when a player asks the CM for sales he's basically asking for CM to request for them. so stop telling them CMs don't have control over it and that sales are planned by the devs  on specific times only based on corperate objectives..

From what I understand by other reading in the forum, staff, mods and helpers have their agendas in the different communities. Yes, they have to keep with the rules of the game, but beyond that, they pretty much do as they see fit. So, you can't go by what you see on other community servers.

"request" is the keyword. BR CM has requested it and it was granted. This could also be just a marketing stunt, maybe he has nothing to do with it.

If it is the case then, TO has some concerns with the size of the BR community and would re-vitalize it by allow a new special event to BR only. Saying that it means that our community is fine. So don't expect much here. However this could be ground for changes here too, we will never know.

Not exactly. Their CMs are entitled with the difficult task of managing a nearly dead community(nothing against them, but that's the truth), and getting new players in is incredibly difficult. Thus, they have to resort to marketing strategies such as events like these which you won't find on other communities because they are already thriving. It's not just about power, it's about distributing it where necessary.

If the BR Community is nearly dead, why not merge them like RU and EN with another Community. Language barriers shouldn't be a problem, after all, that wasn't taken into consideration when we were merged.

because ES and BR servers are located in USA while EN, RU, DE and PL are located in nederlands.. the whole purpose of setting up seperate servers to another continent was to reduce lag

Adding to that, the EN community has been around for some 8 years and has gathered the crux of nearly all non-russian tankers. Merging the BR  community with a major one would, put simply, destroy the only reason it was created for in the first place; language barriers. EN can still thrive and survive within any other community since we have a vast plethora of players, but the Brazilians don't have this liberty available to them.

If only the EN community wasn't playing on the same servers as the RU community, which basically means that whichever promotions we're getting, the Russian players are getting too and vice versa.

EN can still thrive and survive within any other community since we have a vast plethora of players, but the Brazilians don't have this liberty available to them. 

What?!? Most of the battles I play in are all Russian players. I speak English, not Russian or any other living language. I thrive and survive because I have no other choice. But the BR Community can't be merged because they may face a language barrier? Take EN Community out of Russia and put us with them. We have many more players who speak Portuguese, Spanish and Spanglish (a combo of English and Spanish) than we do those who speak Russian. I have a basic understanding of Latin and pick out key words in other Latin based languages. Russian is not Latin based, so I can't pick out anything but a lot of gibberish.

Tanki BR/ES should also include EN and FR for players from the USA, Canada and the Caribbeans. And account transfers should be allowed.

Knowing PL/BS/DE communities are pretty dry - Hence why tons of sales are happening, same with giveaways - To keep the players active. It's a simple strategy used by many companies.
