Parkour Alteration

Recommended Posts

I personally find parkour a waste of time but I think there should be an alteration that makes parkour more fun for the turrets railgun, hammer, twins, ricochet, and thunder and for the hulls wasp, hornet, and dictator

Turret alteration will (75k crystals):

1. 150% increase in recoil

2. 150% increase in impact force

3. 90% reduction in damage

Wasp, Hornet alteration will (75k crystals):

1. Weight cut to a third

2. Health cut to a half

3. Speed doubled

4. 35% protection from mines enabled for hull (spider module protections can be stacked meaning you can have 85% protection against mines at most)

5. Turning speed doubled

6. Acceleration tripled

Dictator alteration will (10k crystals):

1. Increase in weight by 150%

2. Speed reduce by 25%

3. Turning speed reduced by 25%

4. 20% protection from mines enabled for hull (can also be stacked with spider module)

5. Health decreased by 10%

I made it so that these alterations will not be viable in standard battles while they are useful for fulfilling a specific role in parkour. Please do not merge this topic since this is original.

Under Review.
Completed

Interesting idea, although I would make some amendments to it. I doubt people will actually purchase these alterations just for the sake of parkour. Unless there's a major parkour re-vamp that makes it as competitive as something like, say eSports, these alts will end up eating dust. However, a few modifications to it which might make them a tad bit more useful in battle could earn them the traction of hitting two birds with one stone. But these alts can prove very beneficial for the parkour community, and would in theory, also allow it to grow to an extent steep enough that the developers take notice of it.

I mean... people at one point went out of their way and actually traded in their M3 Wasp XTs to get them M0s again for the sake of parkour. But I see what you mean and I will try reducing the price while changing the alts so they will be usable in a regular battle (or at least extremely interesting to use in a regular battle).

How about in addition to the turret changes:

1. There will be a 50% increase in reload speed which will be a significant buff for the alteration in standard battles while making parkour more efficient and quicker-paced, also allowing a player to get two times the shots in while in mid-air, imagine the amount of flips and distance that would cover.

2. No Splash for Thunder (Twins splash is ON), no ricocheting for ricochet or hammer.

Twins will also be getting other changes because everything about this alt besides the damage reduction and increase recoil actually makes it quite OP since we are more than doubling impact force AND hit speed (what makes it OP):

1. Auto-aim is OFF on enemies but ON for teammates (so its good for parkour not so good for actual battles)

2. Recoil for twins is now actually tripled.

Wasp and Hornet don't really need buffs on top of their alt because to be honest, this alt just gives the light hulls all-in for speed and acceleration while trading away literally all your weight and some of your small amounts of armor.

For dictator the health decreased by 10% will turn into a health increase by 10%.

How would dictator being more weighed and less fast be helpful?

I love the others could help other teams including mine

I do not know much about parkour but I know that heavy and medium hulls are used as 'ramps' for light hulls which do the actual tricks.

Dictator is unique due to its height and shape so it is essential for some tricks.

Actually, i dont like this idea. I like some epic parkours that less people can do. After this alts come, NO PARKOUR, everyone will on the top of the RIO tower. Don't want, Don't want!

YH really don't

was space mode added just for parkour?

"Alterations are modifiers that allow a player to alter gameplay features of turrets while keeping them within the overall game's balance."

I think a 90% damage nerf, and increasing impact by 150% isn't within the overall balance of the turret or the game, here's why.

Imagine if twins had 150% more impact force, and it was used in a standard battle, twins m4 would have an impact force of 390, that's more than a thunder with impact buffing sub-cal rounds alt equipped, also m4, how would you like being hit with that number of impact force every 0.27 seconds in a normal battle? and also twins m4's recoil with this alt would only be 77, which is close to the recoil of only a striker M2 (which is still noticeably less than smoky M0), so with a heavy hull, you still should still be able to control your aim, and wreak utter havoc and trollish annoyance at your enemies.
