Smoky and Railgun are trying to do peek-a-boos and everytime they fired off a shot, a puff of smoke came bellowing out. Nothing like giving your position away.

I am always thing new ways to improve Tanki Online when posting ideas. Now, that I know the dynamics of Tanki Online, I see more of my posts being added as under review.

This would be better than Overdrive, you just leave a smoke screen behind you when running away.

 

There could also be a a feature to leave oil behind so enemy tanks lose control.

 

How about antigravity energy that surrounds you but also goes above and below 100 meters so you can go below the stairs in Noise and levitate the Magnums that are above?

 

Or a hologram effect so your tank can get a double next to it?

 

Many fun things that could have been added instead of Overdrives or Drones.

 

We could get these as items pick ups or like Overdrive, and we can get them randomly and know what we got or be all as a surprise when we activate it. I got this idea from long ago, but it comes from Mario Kart.

Also, the fart pump can have alterations. For example, replace black smoke with oil, benzene, fuel or glue.

And the ideas keep coming, fuel is a good one, a Firebird would burn itself when touching it, water to freeze Freeze.

 

We could get diferent smoke colors in containers, in exchange of flag paints. Good deal.

Thanks for liking my ideas. The fart pump could get different smoke colors in containers. Having alterations such as glue, oil and other toxic waste alterations could help differ this pump with cool effect.

I actually dont have anything against the concept of the idea. Its just... "Fart pump". Come on man.

 

Perhaps it could be an Overdrive for a new hull, that way you wont risk it becoming P2W.

Could also get an alteration which would ignite the gas and lead to an explosion similar to that of Wasp's overdrive. Explosions all over the map lol

Developers could just call this weapon a pump because that's what it is, just a pump. I am not sure whether developers would like to have this suggestion implemented as an overdrive, but I know for sure that if implemented into Tanki Online, it would be an original idea that would bring a lot of fun in the game. There is nothing wrong for me to name this weapon "fart pump" because the sound effect sounds like someone farting.

Tanks don't fart, as far as I know, but they have an exaust pipe for the combustion engine, and those exaust fumes don't do nothing to the enemy, unless you count polluting the environment as something that affects the enemy, and everyone, somehow.

 

Could virtual tanks have something that resembles fart? yes but why? It would be funny to some, give tanks another ability and make the game look childish for others.

 

Could the virtual farts do other things besides the sound? yes, there could be blinding farts (smoke screen), toxic farts (damage), and so on.

 

Could be like the opposite to Overdrives, where it charges faster for the losing team.

I've watched the videos you linked to Vigilante 8. Cute game, yes, but it's not on the same caliber as Tanki. I think your fart pump would cheapen the looks and maturity of Tanki.
