Tank secondary weapons suggestions

Hi. I'm celo735. I'm on my friends account cause Tanki online forum dont let me enter on the mine. Please read all.

 

Hm... Machine guns would lag as hell...

Maybe secondary weapons, so u buy and upgrade them like weapons...

My first Secondary weapon suggestion is:

Air blaster

Dont does damage

Makes a sound like the Freeze one

Produces a wind image

Looks like a Fan

Slowy pushes enemies away by a speed of 4.0m per second (If the tank is fast he will escape from it)

Cost: 50 diamonds

Rank required: Staff sergeant

There may be a paint "Whirlwind" Wich makes the Air blaster decreasing only 2.5 m/second

The paint may be Staff sergeant too, and price 100.

The only new gun I would like to see would be a main turret not a secondary weapon. It would be the equivalent of a motar "hope i spelled it right" that could pound the ground with arching shots and serve as artillary at mid range to shoot behind walls over buildings ect. But there would need to be a big enough rechage time to allow movement for the enemy if you miss, and not be to strong attack so it wont be miss used it would be for support.

how would you aim the mortar? And secondary weapons on tanks aren't meant for shooting other tanks. They would just leave marks where there isn't any paint anymore.

@ Justen well if the devs were nice enough to use my idea I would leave it to them but to humor us forum users, hold down the space bar and a pointer on screen would move up and then back after meeting max range release and it would fire that would be simpliest as no need for camera changes or a top down view unleass the range was futhur but i don't think it be needed snipers wouldneed an edge to kill them for the front runners in team modes.

It looks like you're asking for a battleship (with 12 thunders?) :mrgreen:

 

On topic: I want a machinegun to destroy the supply boxes or maybe the flag.

Ok first of all, secondary weapons would make TONS of lag for all the slower computers(Like mine) And second, it wouldn't be as hard to play, you'd be pwning everyone from a sniper perch. Along with the closer ranged weapons(Isida, freeze, Ect...), kill them when they're coming at you...No skill at all! :evil:

Guys, I hate to disappoint you but I really don't see what's the point on discussing about a secondary weapon when there's not even a the slightest rumor that this will be introduced in 2.0. Having a secondary weapon in the game on all type of chassis would change the whole game logic. 3D models, textures, paints, aiming priorities, points/experience/ranking/rating/HOF system, bonuses/drops, items upgrade system, garage graphics and interface, key bindings, sounds and so on.

 

Basically, almost everything that you all do in this game is "based on your actual weapons". :wink:

I'm not a Mod or developer and all that I have said are just assumptions. Crystals drops could be influenced by the number of players, the rank and rating of the ones involved in 1x1 combat at a certain time, maybe battle fund...I don't know..only developers know, but just imagine how it would be like if all the players involved in killings would shoot with two weapons at the same time instead of one. For the same period of time as before, the killing rate grows, points and K/D ratio "goes off the charts". One of those elements (or a combination of those) influences the number of crystals and maybe their falling rate, if there is such a thing... I never timed that.
