But many don't want Overdrives. And many don't know not to want Overdrives yet.

 

Instead of Overdrives there could be something like Mario Kart has when you pick up boxes, all random.

 

 

 

Apart from that, do you check the hacking softwares? Speed hacks are really annoying, the noob cheaters run twice or more faster, but cleaver cheaters just a little faster that many may say they are not hacking. Then there's the lagging hack and now I'm seeing the mine hack.

 

When regular players see hackers, heavy druggers with drones, they just quit battles, and I don't blame them.

This thing with Viking has me a bit nervous. As a computer programmer, I can appreciate the complexity involved in refactoring large amounts of unrelated code to insert a new parameter. If Viking now touches the characteristics of every turret, I am afraid we are in for some interesting glitches.

 

For example - say they forget that this parameter has to reset every spawn. Guess what happens. I visit the garage and swap my turret, and now Railgun suddenly fires with Smoky Autocannon speed. Wheeee!!!!!

I honestly thought that hornets ability to see tanks was the reason why the over drives release is being delayed.

What's weird is that in vlog 147 that there would be decreased reload with single-shot turrets but for energy tank turrets you would get longer range and more energy. Now they're just saying "you get greater firing speed"

Decreased reload time. For example, if Railgun M3 right now has a 6s reload, then it will probably have a... 3s reload with that alteration? Same goes for energy-turrets, they will just have a bigger duration of fire.

Thanks for your answers. I did not quite understand how long it would take for overdrives to be released. When and if overdrives are released next week, they will be released at the same time set to kick-off when the Masters of Parkour tournament starts. Its a shame that overdrives have to be relayed and pushed back because of this problem.

 

However, in V-Log 193, the cartoon spoof does say that developers are extremely sorry by the delayed release date that overdrives have cause on overdrives and the Masters of Parkour event. Hopefully overdrives should released next Friday when V-Log 194 gets released.

Fire your programmers! They not only delay the long planned overdrives, they even can't do the new mission system that make sense. Look what they did: they can made the weekly mission progress automatically counts the finished daily missions but the rewards won't automatically be given to players. They made players to claim the rewards, both daily and weekly. They have serious logic problem in their heads. Fire them !
