Declined Disable Garage Button in No Equipment Switch PRO Battles

As much as I hate PRO battles where I am not allowed to change equipment (only alternative is lose all score and access battle after leaving and changing), I think that the Garage Button on the top right corner should be kind of faded out and the game doesn't let you access the garage even though you pressed the button (maybe there can be a lock on the button to make it blatantly obvious) in battles where you cannot change equipment. The "G" key shortcut should also be disabled and if you press G, nothing happens. 

 

Often, when I join these types of battles, I find out too late that there is no equipment switch. Sometimes, I accumulate a fairly high score and then all of a sudden the opponents change and their equipment counters what I use. I then waste about a minute to go to the garage only to realize that I have to deal with it and that I cannot change my equipment. I know some players have garages that load for an extremely long time, and it would be a good idea to prevent the players from wasting valuable time accessing the garage when they really don't need to.  

 

Finally, I feel like there really is no point in allowing the player to access the garage when equipment switch is off.

It is true that some players have a lot of lags and other issues when playing and whenever they want to change their equipment, it might take them longer than others but that isn't enough reason to remove it.

 

Secondly, you said that there is no point in allowing players to access the garage when the equipment switch is off and I disagree with you on this one too. Here is why, some players like changing their paints in the middle of the battle, others, like equipping or un-equipping their XT items even though they can't change their Turrets or Hulls or even their protection modules if the option was disabled but removing this from them, is not gonna happen unfortunately.

 

It is true that the garage button is visible when you can't even change any of your equipment but it is there for a reason and I mentioned a few of them above.

Can't you just change the keybind to a key that you won't accidentally press?

 

Also, the garage is used for multiple other things, such as changing paints/shots/skins, buying supplies and MUs and checking stats.

You can't change your paints or alterations in these battles. Literally everything is not allowed in these battles. Plus, even if XT changing was on, why would a player ever keep his/her turret/hull regular instead of an XT? Same goes to shot colors. Players 100% enter the battle with XTs on and the right shot colors on.

It's not me accidentally pressing the button. It's me and other players not knowing that this option is off in the battle. Only when I waste time going into the garage do I realize that this option is off. Preventing me from entering gargage is 1. a good indicator for me to know that this option is turned off and 2. prevents me from wasting time in the garage.

It tells you all the Settings of the battle, Just look for the Equipment change icon,If it is faded gray and you love pressing "G" During the battle then don't join.

Theres no need to remove the entire garage option, Which i'm sure will come with so many bugs.

We all forget, or just want to join in the battle because we might think it's a nice one, that we end up not looking at the icons.

there's no point in changing paints/shots/skins... so if you do that halfway in a battle you're just multing

 

you buy MUs before/after you get into the battle

 

and what is the point of checking stats if you can't change equipment??

 

 

as for buying supplies, they should just allow us to buy it directly by pressing the number if we run out of it.. so if  i have no more double damage i just press number 3 and tey take 50 crystals from me automatically. for buying batteries they can let us press number 7

Maybe if you replaced your topic post with the pop up confirmation window that I mentioned, told the mod who declined your post that you changed your post, and asked him to change the title, then he might change the status from declined to under review.

 

I really don't care who the originator of the pop up confirmation idea, as long as it makes it more convenient for players and makes sense I'm for it.

(I don't have an XT so I'm not sure about whether or not the game allows for it) XT: Why would anyone with an XT not have the setting on at any given time? Players will always have their XT on and whether or not they actually wear it makes no difference towards the outcome of the battle. 

 

Paints: The game doesn't allow it to be changed... anyways if it did, it would have no effect on the battle. 

 

(I wouldn't know if allowed or not cuz I don't have any) Shot Colors: You already equipped the shot color you liked the most. Players wouldn't change it, nor would it have any effect on the battle...

 

Buying Supplies: It's a PRO battle... you can't even use supplies Plus, even if supplies were on (1/9999 chance you will find one with no-change and supplies on), players already have 5000+ of each supply (does anyone even buy supplies from garage anymore?)

 

MUs: The game doesn't allow you to upgrade stuff in equipment-change off... even if it did MU after your battle is done or before it starts. Who actually does this where they go into their garage and immediately start MUing things in the middle of the battle? Anyways, it would still take time for the MUing to be completed, so what is the damn point? 

 

Checking Stats: Why the bloody hell would I need to check stats, or why would I not know the stats of the turret/hull/module combo that I am using? This is a poor reason as to why I would waste time in the garage. 

 

The ability to check your garage for the reasons above is just multing and you are wasting your time...

I say the no equipment change option should only be available in private battles.
