Hey tankers! Recently, Masters of Parkour 2018 has been announced (information can be found in V-LOG: Episode 191), and I personally believe this contest is much worse than previous years.

 

For starters, only 8 teams will move onto the final stages, which means only 8 teams will keep the elusive MOP 2018 paint. I think the EN community should make it more like previous years, and make it so a wider group of parkourists will be able to keep this year's paint. They still could allow only 8 teams to advance to the finals, but at least give some other, not as professional parkourists to have a chance at owning this paint. I know for one, and I bet several others feel the same way, that they will not participate, as the odds of them actually getting a reward for the loads of time they would have to invest in order to participate is not worth anything.

 

There are some other issues with this year's Masters of Parkour contest, but this, I feel, is the biggest issue. Hopefully, if we all join forces with the same opinions, and revolt, there can be a change, and more teams will be able to win the MOP 2018 paint, and thus more teams will participate. I personally think it's good now. 8 teams itsn't that much, but that's fine. Why? 8 teams X 4 teammembers = 32 people who will win the paint in the Internation communities. Have a look at the previous MOP's ('16 '17) how many teams have won. 8 teams who took part in the finals keeps the paint AND 8 consolation teams. This makes a total of 64 players who have won the paint. This is why it's not special. 

 

This contest is called MASTERS of parkour. So only the MASTERS can win.
