Declined Option to exchange container rewards for 1 Gold Box

As we know many of our garages are full of unwanted items, specially paints, and most accumulate too many supplies.

 

Previously I posted a similar idea but it was about paints and I was asking for more than 1 Gold Box. After thinking more carefully about it I think 1 Gold Box in exchange of an unwanted container reward would be a good option to have.

 

There would be some exceptions, Gold Boxes and Crystal rewards shouldn't get this option.

 

.We need this option, just think how many times you worked hard to earned containers only to get supplies or unwanted paints. Buyers and non buyers should support these idea.

To the concern that it would negatively affect the game economye, I'd would like point out that the game has gotten more expensive with the Module, Drone and more Alterations updates. And if devs still think it affects the economy, they could review the value of containers, adjust probabilities, make it more expensive, or give less containers for contests.

Ideas like this one have been suggested many times, each with a different garage item being put up at stake, and the reason why they can never be implemented is because of the fact that doing this, severely damages game economy. Players are receiving gold boxes based off of things that aren't benefiting the developers, or the game as a matter of fact. Doesn't this pretty much give buyers the ability to purchase containers, receive paints and then trade them for gold boxes for more crystals? 

Basically what it means is, you can't get rewarded with gold boxes unless there's a mechanic which makes them harder to obtain, in order to keep the balance.

What about exchanging unopened containers for a gold box? :ph34r: So you could choose if you want to open a random reward or receive a small reward. Containers are more expensive than gold boxes, so buying contaniers and exchanging them for goldboxes would be just waste of money.

I like that. It woudnt hurt the game economy and people who get unwanted paints/supplies only have themselves to blame for opening it.

Basically what it means is, you can't get rewarded with gold boxes unless there's a mechanic which makes them harder to obtain, in order to keep the balance.

Devs could rebalance containers, make it more expensive, remove Weekly Containers, or give less of them as Weekly Mission rewards in order to allow this option. For example Containers could cost twice the cost of Gold Boxes, then a buyer that exchanges an unwanted item for a Gold Box is losing halve it's money's worth compared to buying Gold Boxes. If buyers want more Gold Boxes or Crystals they could just buy Gold Boxes or Crystals.

 

I think it's a matter of adjusting things a little.

 

Now think on the positives, more players could buy Containers knowing that if they get an unwanted item they could just exchange that item.

 

And one Gold Box is nothing these days.
