How is having a 50% protection a noob make? That combo would slaughter anything, not just noobs. Your comment doesn't make any sense.

First how did you come to the conclusion that having 50% protection make a noob? It's incredibly stupid to think that. I just said it will a perfect tool for slaughtering noobs having 50% protection. Nothing less nothing more. If you make unnecessary implications and conclusions from this, then it is wholly your fault. It doesnt make sense to make the assumptions you put forward. In fact they have nothing to do with what I said. So I am not the one talking nonsense, you are.So you please grow up and stop your nonsense.

sir I think he is thinking similar to the way I'm thinking

 

see if you have 50% protection then your regular protection against certain turrets . then add into the drones and drugs . its nearly impossible to kill players . unless there only taking in a small percentage from each .. the gear score rating will be going up also leaving us in battles with stronger tanks . and yea please correct me on this cause this is some what still confusing to players ..

Thanks for understanding my line of thinking and not drawing conclusions like some other person. I was just speculating that's all. I can't help it if someone with a massive ego gets offended by this and starts thinking in a convoluted way.

Oh, I get what you mean, I was commenting on him calling players with 50% protection noobs. That weird sentence only make sense if we assume that A: players with 50% protections are noobs, or B: everyone else except him are noobs.

 

But I digress.

 

Some Alteration/Drone/OD will become asinine to play against and the game is becoming pure chaos and extremely hard to predict. TO is turning from a relatively structured tank shooting game with fairly predictable weapons and hulls effects/tougness/speed into a confused FPS shooter with colorful special effects popping all over the place.

 

Think about the Street Fighter VS Capcom combat games, it's so polluted with flashes, effects and explosions you can barely see what is happening.

 

It's gettin to a point you have no clear idea what your fighting against with the Turret Alterations/Drone combos, varied OD will make this even worse.

 

No wonder the devs can't get around to release that Viking OD, it just so formidably OP with some combos that I think the only solution will be to change (again) and/or remove some of the current Alterations/Drones, or accept it is OP with some combinations and go with it.

I never said that. Please read what I said carefully. No where did I mention what you assumed. You yourself implied this. So blame yourself for constructing that "weird" sentence in your head.

I'd hope that tanki would release each overdrive one at a time so we could get used to the changes gradually. This is too much information to take in at one time and a big turn-off.

 

Next year we'll have mushrooms that grow randomly out the ground and if you drive over them while trying to cap the flag you're holding, your tank will magically float back to base but only if you're wearing the wizards hat which is available to buy in the shop of course.

So you mean you won't be also slaughtering 'non-noobs' due to that effect? Or that would imply that players who dies at your hands are noobs by default. My point was that I found it an incredibly disparaging and condescending comment, that's all.

Because of the destructive potential of the OD very high rate of fire + DD, as opposed to Dictator's only running on DD.

So DA & SB have no impact in battle?  Nor does sharing DD+DA+Sb with any friendlies nearby?

what 's the point in sharing with teammates if they all have to stay there? imo if both can't move around, one indestructible guy is more useful that 5 nearly indestructible guys...

Share Titan OD with 2-3 teammates with Thunder, Smoky or Rail, and camp near your flag, so nobody can take it. And it one teammate is a Viking with Thunder, it's impossible to take the flag.

Imagine Railgun with large caliber ammo alteration coupled with hornet's overdrive and booster drone. Perfect for slaughtering noobs having 50% protection .

How come players with 50% are noobs?

These overdrives will be rage-inducing and will probably make me quit. I better start packing up to move to WOT... oh wait that game has their own P2W issues as well.

Casual parkour battles are rage-inducing enough for me.

How can a bunch of russian twins-mammoths shooting at each other while their on the same team be rage-inducing?

Not them. It's the one tiling the floor with mines. Makes the map totally unusable.

Not saying that, however in non-clan battles lots of players (not all) can be very self centered and don't/won't go around sharing OD, sometimes playing their own individual mini-game in the larger battle. How many times do we see CTF being played like TDM slugfest?

 

So I believe it is superior in the fact that it will have a greater impact to all 'individual' players. I may be wrong, though you can imagine the lure of DD + Rate Of Fire OD will have on some players that like sniping over all else. The 'Why race all over the map to get the flag, I will just wipe the floor with everything that moves and someone else will' mentality.

 

Again I may be wrong, we shall see.

Now we'll have to choose which OD to buy... I mean which Hull/OD to buy.

 

I know there's not much difference between Titan and Mammoth, but Viking, Hunter and Dictator are different and Hornet and Wasp are a lot different.

 

I like Hornet better but what if I don't like the Hornet OD?

 

If I have Hunter, why do I have to adapt to a new play style to make use of the Hunter OD?

 

You couldn't come up with better characteristics for hulls so you give each hull different powers. Makes no sense.

 

Meanwhile battles are worse everyday and hackers are rampant they don't even care if you vote them because not enough mods I guess.

I would agree Viking OD is probably more effective in DM mode, where the sole purpose is killing.  That OD does have more "offensive" side.

 

For team battles (like CTF) though, it is probably more of a wash because 1) killing is only part of the goal and 2) even if you don't share a language it is still fairly easy to get next to team-mates and press shift.

 

But as we don't know specifics (like duration) or how some turrets are affected, it's hard to tell.

You mean cuz that light-weight Viking was flipped during that little "bump" and then needs to self-destruct? :o

 

Kinda like a soccer player who senses an opponent brush their jersey... ;)

 

 

As an aside... how will Viking OD impact Shaft scope and Striker salvo?
