Where did you even get that?

Like you put it, let me break it don't simply: Sometimes it's obvious, but mostly you cannot know if its a noob that you killl every time you blow up a tank. Thus, if you 'slaughter' (or kill) a player once or multiple time the implication is that he's a noob.

I'm sure you've been spawn killed multiple times in some games and you likely did the same to others. Does it means you're a noob or they are?

Also you make the connection to the OP OD/Alteratioon combo as a way to kill nobs, except you will kill anyone with it, not just noobs.

For example, I see you coming at me with a Rail, I have 50% vs Rail, so I think I can take 2-3 shots and live and have time to kill you - Then you one-shot me with your OD/Alteration combo: 'What a noob, he died easy, xaxaxaxa...'  Again, if you have a Protection it is normal to assume it's going to protect, doesn't make one a noob.

- You wrote this: Imagine Railgun with large caliber ammo alteration coupled with hornet's overdrive and booster drone. Perfect for slaughtering noobs having 50% protection .

If you had written: 'Perfect for slaughtering unsuspecting tankers having 50% protection' I would not have batted an eye. As it is, reading your statement one must extrapolate that if he/she's meeting you in battle and you one-shot him/her using this combination you will think him/her a noob. I one-shoot people all the time, doesn't make them noobs.

Like I wrote earlier, this is not about the OD or combo or Drone, it is about your wide call to noobness that is insulting.

First shot effects, and now fancy overdrives.

Next what? Sound effects?

Wait, I'd love to have Palkia's cry on a railgun...

Fireworks and a Voice saying that You Own Them All like in Juggernaut mode as soon as you start a killing spree.

What this guy meant was that he can now kill noobs, according to whatever he considers as "noobish" behavior, even if they have 50% protection, and this has been made possible with the new Hornet OD. I too disagree with the use of the term 'noob' since actual 'mults' don't usually have 50% protection, but instead of confronting this right away, you are taking the wrong meaning out of his post.

You may not have drugs on when that happens, remember that you no longer have the regular Overdrive. A Shaft or Magnum can kill you.

So no ammo hackers can easily disguise themselves now by simply using the Viking overdrive. Like seriously for real, how are you going to tell the difference now?

And by the way, would the Mammoth overdrive be able to destroy a player as the Juggernaut by simply just touching the tank?

there's the visual effect when you activate overdrive?

Hey folks. Check this out. I have managed to successfully guess the answer to the Question of The Week in V-Log 193 and I have won my 5000 crystals. This is the very first time that I have submitted the correct answer and that I was randomly selected upon the list of winners.

Since I have joined Tanki Online for over three years I have always answered the Question of The Week, but failed to win. This time I am a winner.

What about juggernaut? Will this amazing tank also receive an additional deadly overdrive?

Not al all. 5-8 second duration makes railgun practically useless with the overdrive. Maybe a better idea would be to have different duration for different turrets. Like rapid fire weapons have 10 second duration and railgun, shaft, magnum have longer period.

The OD does reduce the reload time, so I'd assume Railgun would still be able to fire 1 shot a second at least. Different durations for different turrets would make sense, I guess we'll find out when OD's are released.

That's the way it works?  Why?

It should reduce re-load time by a factor.  say 2 (= 100% faster) - for ALL turrets with re-load.

Firing 1 shot per second makes no sense - high damage turrets would have a much better return on the OD.

In 8 seconds they would kill multiple opponents easily.  That would wreck the game.

OD is supposed to give you a "leg up", not turn a player into god_mode_on.

Halving reload for fixed time period (20 or 30) seconds would be the most fair application IMO.

Well it does seem incredibly OP, hence it should only last a few seconds. Summing up what it said in the V-Log,

- Continuous shooting turrets (Hammer, Thunder Ricochet etc) will have their reload time reduced. So if fires at an insane DPS. I presume by some unknown factor for each turret like you said.

- Turrets with limited energy (Freeze, Firebird, Isida etc) will be able to shoot forever (no recharge) and have increased range while the OD is active.

Shaft's triple shot Alteration sounds interesting...

Remember, a hunter with OD ready can just go up to the Viking, activate OD, and poof Viking is now toast.

But a few seconds of Rail firing every second is much different from a smky firing every second.

Having anything more than double firing rate is way beyond anything reasonable.

Well what is the range of the Hunter's EMP?  Pretty sure the rail can shoot farther than that...

When will be the right time for Rail, Shaft or Striker to activate that OD? Looks like they will have to look for the opportunities, while Magnum, then medium and short range turrets can find opportunities easily, then activate and charge on enemies or Magnum bombard the whole place.

Many of you and the devs will focus on balancing those ODs, well... good luck with that.
