Is it official page? I think it's just someone's personal page.

And what do you mean by "Tanki South East Asia servers confirmed or?" ?

I am just as confused as you are.

Not sure if this is official, but if it is, then its about time Tanki reached out to other regions for players.

I think PlayPark is a Filipino game-promoting company and they are promoting Tanki Online too. Doesn't mean TO is gonna be released in another country.

Hmmm, well i think they are promoting tanki on south asia website to gain more interest.
Like what they did with miniclip............

I am in Thailand.  Tanki is running through a site called PlayPark.  It's like Mini-Clip, or a smaller version of Steam.  The servers are separate like our Latin and Chinese cousins.

SEA Tanki is worthless so far...other than I get over 50fps!  Previously toxic MM would not let you join battles other than TDM or DM since the player pool is so low, but this has been corrected and you can join a battle...well, you can get onto a map...alone.  No opponents ever show up.

Glitches:

1)   Can't self destruct if you flip...delete key does not work and shows an odd icon in the "self-destruct" screen (not delete)

2)   No button to exit "Garage". Exit Garage within a battle by the timer's automatic pop-up or just clicking the screen

3)   Right shift will not actuate OverDrive (only left shift works)(if you manually add R.Shift in "settings" it will actuate the OD)

4)   2 or 3 second delay in viewing missions after clicking "Daily Missions" star

5)   Profile or ratings link does not work by clicking rank icon in upper left corner...no way to get to profile page since all links are through PlayPark

addition:

6)  Capturing points in CP adds nothing to score, XP, or battle fund

I thought the title was miss-spelled and you meant to say "Tanki is EA?" which doesn't sound like a false statement, to be fair.

Tanki is Alternativa Platform not EA.  Tanki wouldn't be as messed up if it were EA :)   So I'm sure you know that SEA is Southeast Asia.  Tanki has PlayPark, a Filipino gaming group like Steam or Mini Clip hosting TO.  I don't think PlayPark is doing any promotion because there is no one using the servers.

MatchMaking is keeping any potential players from playing since the player pool is so small.   If players could see who was playing where and in what mode like you could before MatchMaking, Tanki would start to build a player base.  As it is now, there are no players and likely to be no players,,,,it is an abject and complete failure.

^ You see that there? That is a prime example of a woosh, well done.

Well, Tanki in SEA is completely 100% dead now.  Previously there were almost no players, but now no one can even join a battle...literally no one.

Previously you could join a battle in any mode and wait around to see if you got an opponent.  Usually you never did, but it did happen occasionally.  A friend and I would go to the SEA server and battle each other in 1vs1 duels since MM would allow you to join a battle without the 8 on each team situation.  Now in Tanki's infinite wisdom, the "full team" 8vs8 mechanic is in place and zero matches are generated...literally zero matches throughout the day.

The upshot of this is that it is now impossible for anyone to ever join a battle at any time in any mode on SEA servers because no battle ever gets created.  What a waste.

Way to go Tanki

Does any activity happen in game chats or elsewhere in the community? Could be that all the battles are at other ranks.

nope...absolutely nothing.  I've never seen one word written in chat, even from day one.  I even started another acct. to see if there were any Recruits.  If there are, there are not enough for MM to generate a battle for them.

I'm interested in SEA server because I'm in SEA and my fps is incredibly good and movement is so silky smooth it is like a different game.  I was playing with a friend and we got to do these 1vs1 games so I've spent some time on the servers...but now MM has locked the game up and anyone that does stumbles in on Tanki can't play because MM has to have 16 players all at one time to generate a battle.  MatchMaking strikes again!

Strange that you're talking about FPS, since it should be the same in all versions of the game, regardless of location. Only ping should be affected by server location.

As for the SEA tanki activity, well... press F to pay respects.

Edit: OKAY OKAY guys, "press F to pay respects" was rhetorical. I didn't ask you to literally spam the whole topic with "F". I appreciate your engagement with the meme, but forum rules are still rules   <_>

The matchmaking mechanic would not allow a battle to be created so anyone that tried to play on the S.E.A. server set-up just got to sit and wait for the three minute time out.  There were never 16 players online and trying to get into a battle at exactly the same moment.  So for the last week or so (maybe longer) s.sg.tankionline.com is offline and the site can't be reached.   Tanki in S.E.A. ?  Nope, gone.

Too bad.  ...Yet another glob of mismanagement by Tanki/AlternativaPlatforms

After a few weeks of being off line, S.E.A. is back and you can log in now.

Now I can log in, but my account is closed...only the registration screen comes up...sigh.  There goes my hoarded crystals and many hours playing with friends...their accounts are closed too.  Tanki...what a pisser.

I'm probably the only player that cares anything about this, but I'll report anyway.

Tanki merged the S.E.A. servers with the EU servers so now you can jump into a battle as easily as you can with a normal EU login...because you are playing EU/North American battles.  Unfortunately, to accomplish this they wiped out all previous SEA accounts....100%...gone, poof!

So now you can hit the PI or Indonesian Flag icon and be given the choice of login in through PlayPark, Google, or Facebook...period.  The login does put you into HTML Tanki.  But, there are several bugs in the HTML version and the lag is the same...possibly a bit worse than a normal log in through EN, RU, GM, PL.

So, for me, SEA is pretty much pointless...I guess the Indonesian players get a lobby in their own language, so that's cool.

                                                                ----------------------------------------------------------

PS  Just logged in via the Indonesian Flag icon in the drop down menu.  The Indonesian section comes up in English only...go figure.

The HTML also generates some sort horrible aberrant motion sensation due to a slight delay in turning your turret or hull...it's like a motion sickness feeling or slight dizziness.  It's not lag but something peculiar to the HTML5 version of Tanki.  There is no way a person could play this for a couple of hours at a sitting without barfing.

So, the Tanki venture into the SEA region is a complete 100% bust.  Other than a curiosity, there is no reason or advantage to login through the SEA icons and SEA interface...zero.  At least the drop down menu looks more international with a couple of extra flags.  TankiOnline...ya just gotta love the incompetence.
