Theoretically, no. Not from what we currently know. Any objects with mass cannot reach the speed of light otherwise they would have infinite energy (which is why scientists have assumed light photons as massless particles) as shown here;

 

 

If an object's velocity reaches the speed of light then V^2=C^2 which gives you the square root of 1-1, which is zero. So, in the end, the Lorentz factor (y) will equal 1/0=infinity.

 

But hey, who knows. Maybe in a few centuries, someone would find a way to travel at or exceed the speed of light.

 

I don't really know what I'm doing here since I'm not the one that should answer these questions. You also probably meant it as a joke. I guess I'm still hungover from today's physics exam ._.

In future, scientists will create an engine capable of accelerating over the light speed. It would probably consume lots of hydrogen because it is everywhere. Space is full of hydrogen waiting to get into spaceships and to transform into energy.

If you traveled faster than light, theoretically two things would happen at the same time:

 

1.) You would see nothing but black

2.) you would occupy all points of the universe at the same time

 

I'm thinking "wormhole" may be possible.

well i did some research and found out that if you went faster than light, you would be able to see objects in front and the side since light would be coming from them but behind you would be totally black

you do make sense but the light in front of us is literally going into our eyes, not following us therefore we can atleast see things in front of yourself

if flight simulator X and Xplane 11 have realistic graphics but totally crap crash physics and if GTA V have realistic graphics, crash physics but have totally crap flight movement physics...
