Challenges are here!

In the Challenge tab, when you click on each tier it should tell you the Stars needed to complete that tier.

Check it. No, it doesn't indicate per tier. It shows you what you need for the one you are on and gives a percent-complete indication.

I have completed Tier 5. It shows it took 62 Stars to get that far. It shows I need 78 for Tier 6. Thus, 16 more Stars. It does not show any information about higher tiers.

I can scroll to higher tiers, but there is nothing to click. There is no information regarding how many stars are required for each tier except the one you are on at the moment. Of course, 2000 Stars total for all 50 tiers, shows the average will be 40 stars per tier. Given how low the star count is so far, the final few tiers might get to 100 or more Stars.

Yep, I am at tier 22 and I I got 36.

I do love this update. Finally something to do which aint boring as daily mission for pointless rewards.

For just completing daily missions, now players can complete at least one tier for challenges. Well done developers for making challenges perfectly balanced as expected. Keep up the good work on future updates folks. Stay tuned. Overdrives shall be released very soon, just like developers mentioned.

Questions on the Main missions tab:

1. Please tell me what will the "Main" mission tab be about?

2. When will the "Main" missions be released?

It was a suggestion, so players wouldn't have to go to the wiki.

So, 2000 stars. With a Premium account, I think 4 is an expectable average, so 500 matches. One probably needs a drone active in those battles to count on that 4 stars-per-battle average, thus 4000 batteries. Anybody have 4000 batteries?

I know some will buy, but good grief. The battle total goes up to 667 if one averages only 3 stars per battle. For those without a Premium account, two stars per battle as average is a little optimistic; thus, it will require over 1000 battles to obtain 2000 stars.

I honestly think five battles per hour is a high average for nearly all players. (Six is nearly impossible for a long-term average, and seven battles per hour ignores time between battles and physiology necessities. A long term average approaching seven is actually impossible for one player.)

1000 battles in 40 days runs an average of five hours per day, or over 200 hours. (That is approximately a full-time job for six full weeks.)

I am certain several hundred players will accomplish 2000 stars, most with the pass and a Premium account and over 500 hours battle-playing time, but I won't be one of them. That is simply too much time. (I have Premium for Ricosck, and what time I play will be almost entirely that account, but I doubt I reach more than a few hundred stars.)

I expect events like this will increase the sale of Premium account days.

In comment #197, CooperO declared, "It's a technical error of which the devs are aware and they're working on fixing it. The announcement has the correct duration, 6 weeks."

You are always wrong with your "maths", it has absolutely 0 logical basis. You do not need a drone to get even 6 stars in a battle.  I realise I am generally a 1 off, but this challenge is very possible.  I played 4 hours today and yesterday, so far about 270 stars, it's very possible for someone who is active, however I won't reach 2000 as I will barely play this Christmas.

So the premium account I got from the Battle Star Bonus from Tier 8 (I didn't buy premium). I joined this game late, several kills off from the top player. I played normally without going too try hard, used a normal triple module (not Spectrum) and still came out on top with no drones.

Challenge for the challenge numbers. I don't remember the link for the graph.

Okay, I went to look. It does not look like what I found the first day. I assumed you'd found something somewhere else.

As to the players-online graph, that used to be on the "https://tankionline.com/en/"web page. If it is in the wiki, I can't find it.

The number of players online at the moment still shows on the web page, but it is a snapshot. There is no data log that I can find. Back when daily totals were rising each month, they were proud to show the graph. I assume they still don't want it viewed routinely.

Personally, at the times I play, it is rare to see more than about 3000 to 5000 players online. I sometimes catch 15k, maybe 20k on Saturdays.

I am also waiting for this, but you can already play.

the extra rewards will be added once you have bought the pass:

Most importantly, you’ll be able to buy the Battle Pass at ANY stage of the challenge —at the very beginning, in the middle, or even in the very final stage— and you will STILL get ALL the rewards from both the top and bottom rows.

Check te Wiki

Where? Which page?

Stratosphere posted the link in that thread the same day of the release one hour before the server restart and it had all the data.
