Every time players start a new account, they are automatically Smoky and Hunter, but this should be changed.
The player must have 3 m0 options of equipment, and all must be unblocked in recruit or corporal

Initial Equipment:

Option A = light kit:

Option C = heavy kit:

(this is gonna get economic real quick with other people)

I understand your thinking here, but new accounts were made for new players, new players, having never played, don't know what they want, they don't know the balance of light/medium/heavy roles in this game, first I'm going to focus on turrets. They start them out with smoky, as its just the simplest gun, click..shoot.. done, that's it, it also has a very simple physical appearance too, and I think that's part of the gun being geared toward beginners, just by the barrel size, you can tell its not that strong, and the small, simple, boxy look, makes it look just simple, not threatening, easy to use. The hull... I mean, they obviously (the devs) wanted new players to get the taste of a very average hull, starting out with wasp, will maybe be too much speed for beginners, too much for them to handle and control properly. And it is frankly easy to kill, which may be really annoying to completely new beginners, starting out with a heavy... same sort of argument for wasp, t h e r e   j u s t   s o    s l o w   which may be a bad introduction to the game.

how bout just giving them a trial run with no players and an open map for say about 5 minute and then when they think they have found a weapon that suits them they exit and choose.

I think the idea sounds promising, but if there are no people, new players wouldn't get a real in-game sense and experience of the armour of their hull.

I agree with this idea, it will give new players a different perspective of the game. Some players think M0 hunter is wayyyy too slow which can lead to a disappointing first time experience. So getting a like you said would definitely give new players more freedom of what they want

but... new players don't know what they want, its best to start them out with an average hull, get an understanding of how hulls speed and armor work, then allow them to buy different hulls if they want, i.e. the current system.

Planned

The latest vlog revealed that new players will soon be able to build their own tank when creating a new account, which includes selecting turret, hull and paint.

Why would any one want to do that?

Seems like a good offer in terms of potential sales. If you're a new player starting out, you see an offer for $1 to buy ALL equipment at once and you think it's an incredible deal, except you don't know that it's gonna take like $1000 to actually upgrade that equipment to max without grinding ?

Anyway, pretty sure that offer is long-gone. The comment you replied to is from 2018.

Yip I just noticed that, didn't really pay much attention to the date.
