2 battles played in the MM maps and it already feels like a stupid event.

 

This Gold mechanic is simply dumb, absolutely no fun.

 

I mean, I.N.E.F.A.B.L.E is ALWAYS sitting on the spot, and the meteor falls on him, and he NEVER dies, even tho he's a titan, the meteor is supposed to one shot you if you are too close. Other Titan that are far away from the meteor die, but him, he's under it and does not die. Is that because of that lame Lifeguard drone?

 

Besides, lot of Golds are taken by hackers. Like, huge speed in a small amount of time.

Have you not seen the video on YouTube? If you purchase lifeguard drone and stand next to the place where the meteor will fall, you won't die, no matter how much health you have.

Not sure about that - But during the video the person was right next to the place with at least 25% health and did not die.

That should be possible yes, since getting hit by one of those meteorite trees certainly counts as fatal damage:

The drone has to be active, if it's not activate or still charging - it won't work. Plus, it has to be MU'ed to at least 5/20.

Yes, you can survive any single hit of damage that would otherwise kill you, so this includes the meteorite. As long as the drone is active, you can be anywhere in the blast zone and survive. But you won't have much health left afterwards.

Thing is, Lifeguard at default MU only leaves you with 250hp when you are "resurrected". So anyone shooting at you will be able to kill you before you take the gold. And you need to be able to survive for at least half a second to be able to correct yourself from the meteorite's knockback and drive onto the gold box. AFAIK, if you stand right on top of the spot when the meteorite spawns, the gold will appear inside you and you will not take it until you drive out and back in again, by which time you will most likely be dead.

No, the meteorite model (i.e. the christmas tree missile) is just a 3D picture that has no effect on the battle itself. Even if you were do somehow launch yourself into it with parkour or otherwise, it would simply fly through you regardless of what equipment or drone you have. Also, it does not actually contain the gold box, unlike a parachute gold. The gold box spawns a moment after the explosion, so it's impossible to take it before the explosion happens.

That's why this drone is not good for my Viking. The blast is a big problem. It's less of a problem with Titan.

Default is 250 hp, which is like... a single Twins shot. But you can upgrade it for the low, low price of 3 million crystals to give you 2000 hp instantly after resurrection. Also, if you have repair kit and/or overdrive ready after the explosion, you can use those too to give yourself an additional 1000 hp boost.

Yes I always use OD or Repair. Saving OD is not a problem since it's a DM, no sabotage issues.

How many crystals is needed to get all drones M4? Those who say that they have all drones M4, omg. It's like, hundreds and hundreds of $$$$. :o

Love this!. . . all except for the Christmas map. I wish you guys would make it TDM or CTF or ASL or something other than DM. A lot of guys don't like to play DM and I'm one of those. Do something like Christmas of 2 years ago where Yorkshire was introduced into the game as the Christmas map with ASL being the mode. That was no doubt the best Christmas that Tanki ever had.

 

But other than the map, everything else is awesome! Got twins m1 earlier today and it's AMAZING! Thanks Tanki!

I got 1M in a container from a previous star week, a few months ago. +, I spent a year with spending crystals. I saved up to 3M.

 

Since I play only for events now, I don't care to "waste" 140K. I still have like 1.6M now.

By the way, catching some Golds is the only thing I like in this event, with the funds and the stars.

I would've waited 2 or 3 days for discounted Drones, but you saved a lot of Crystal, so I guess it's okay.

 

For me 140k is equivalent to about 45 containers and that means a lot of missions.

Around 3 hours played. 28 Golds + 29K. I will make a complete summary of this first x20 later, tomorrow probably. But I think my K/D is kinda bad, around 1.6. But it's better than these Hornet Wasp occupying the last position of each battles with 0 kills 15 deaths XD.
