Hey Guys! Today we meet a famous clan that recenlty turned from the Russian Community to the English one. Tankmen and Tankladies here is the leader - Only. One!

Hello! Would please tell us more about you.

Hey, Im Only. One, my real name is Oleg and I'm the leader of the clan Chicago.

Well, firstly how did you discover eSports, and in which clan did you really started to play it.

: I joined this game because of my school friend. I played for 1-2 days and then forget about it - this was during 2011 or 2012, I don't remember. But what I do remember was another friend asking me to play Tanki, and so in 2013, I started playing Tanki Online again, and I started playing actively in 2014. @12rus12 invited me into the clan "Fathers". As it turned out, that was old clan, so when I joined it, I was youngest member in the team because all the members were 25 years old (or maybe more ).

How did you find your first eSports trainings?

: To be honest, I was pretty bad . But my clanmates told me that I had good potential, and that I needed to practice more for format 6vs6, and of course I needed time to get experience. But team was not bad, the atmosphere in Fathers was to encourage each other. As for drop control; this was before new drop system, back when drops were random, so, I thought when you saw them, you just try to take them .

How did you join Chicago? How was the Gameplay?

Hmmm, I joined Chicago after the PRO Series clan I was in (SHARKS) (not Black, who were another SHARKS). SHARKS taught me how to play and I met good friends, one of whom still plays with me. But okay, I met with @HEMATERUCb_KAK_BCE (a StarSeries player). I already knew that he was a good person, and after SLTV he asked me to join his clan for Blitz and another big tournament after. Of course we lost in Master of The Sword, and so everyone left . Then, after Master Of The Sword, he again asked me for play TOF with our others friends. The next day, @Fun asked HEMATERUCb_KAK_BCE to join his new clan for Blitz. He accepted, and so they qualified for  the Clan Championships. There was @l_NooB, who was the actual leader who also asked me to join, and I accepted. That's how I joined Chicago.

Why did you choose Chicago and why not another clan?

Because I was not a noob anymore, and I had a desire to actually win something. They all always encouraged me, saying that I had great potential. That'  why I chose Chicago (also, my friends accepted their requests .)

Hmm, well can you tell us more about your own experience in eSports?

: We came second place in DS, and that was first and last victory for us (Chicago). Before MotS ||, I  left the team because of exams, and didn't follow cybersport until Blitz. For Blitz i got invite to Next, where I played until the beginning of the CC. After CCX, played a little bit in DeJa Vu, but because of some reasons, I left and tried to make a new clan, Can't Lose, for second league MotS |||. In this tournament we came second place. After MotS, the team was not active, so we closed. After a month, Xavi(@Yur) invited me to Dream Squad, where I became a leader with the same team with which we took the top 4 in DS III. Before qualifications at CC11, I had the choice of joining Next or Random Noobs(Regera), but I chose the second way because of new friends and I wanted to try the "English style of play" again.

That pretty nice from Chicago' members! How did you become leader?

I still haven't got enough experience for be a leader, but I'm trying to be better. So okay, lets see, I became a leader because of HEMATERUCb_KAK_BCE, before the Clan ChampionShips 9, he joined Arm Power and closed a clan. Me, @Wait_and_See, @RightNow and @FinalStage asked him to let me become the new leader, but he said no. We then all went off to study, and stopped Tanki for a while (it was the last year of my school). After 2 weeks, he asked me for join Arm Power after the group stage, I said yes, but at the same time, I learnt about the tournament Domination Series and I asked some players of AP and old Chicago to make a team, but I was the leader, not him, because our teammates were mad at him.

How did you train your squad to reach the Domination Series podium?

In general, we didn't think that we would reach the final, so we didn't play trainings. I just chose a format which was comfortable for us (in the group stage), and we played almost the same squad, as we had in Clan Championships 9 (Arm Power), except for a couple of people, so we had teamwork already, we only needed the desire to win, which we didn't have at CC9.

Why did you choose to change your clan community from RU to EN?

English players have more potential than Russian (not all, but mostly). Also, English players know how to take criticism and it's easier to work and communicate with them.

I see Chicago opened and closed many times, what were the main reasons?

I think the reason was Russian players, because they don't want to improve, and if you make a remark to one of them, then you will get the wrong answer compared to what you were expecting, and this player will leave.

Alright, well what do you expect from this new Chicago team for the future?

Good games and good time spent getting good results. That's how it will go - at least we will try. :D

What are your main goal(s) in Tanki eSports? What will you do after you achieve them?

I will play until I get bored, and in eSports I will play as long as there is someone to play with. Already thought about quitting the game, but so far I do not want to. I want to take many prizes as possible, while it is possible to do so.

Did you win any eSports paints before? Do you think you will win more?

: Domination Series, Season I, 2nd place - I received Gladiator, no more. Yeah, I wanna try win more and I think I will, but I don't know when.

Very nice! Have you got any final pieces of advice for others clans?

Have patience. Even if something does not work, it is not a reason to throw, but rather a reason to step back and analyse your gameplay, and look for places to improve.

Thanks you for time Only. One! Good Luck for the future! :D

: Anytime
