A solution to prevent facing P2W M4s if You're a mid ranked Tanker

Today, as all of you know, the Gold Drop rate is 20x in Matchmaking battles on the New Year Special Map. Obviously, all non-buyers want to catch lots of golds to get crystals, then the problem for Mid Ranked Tankers like me is that we are facing Legend Ranked M4s in the Matchmaking maps. They will probably rekt you K/D ratio if you join the MM battle for golds and won't even let you take golds! Either they'll be pro at it, or will just kill you before it drops.

 

My case is the same. Well, I have m3s, but I either am not good at it or they are not suitable according to the map. I was using a combination of Railgun and Viking M2 at first, As Viking M2's health is good and can stand against the M4s for a moment in which you can at least shoot, I wasn't getting much killed, but It was too slow to reach the Meteor drop, and M3s and M4s took the gold. I switched to Hornet M3, But I was mostly killed before it fell. 

 

I am quite annoyed by the Match Making system that puts me in low ranked battle very rarely. So the only solution I got was that keeping a low ranked friend (Major-Colonel) in the battle group. I opened the Friends list, didn't even had a single friend online that was below General (#SedLyf). I tried to post in the lobby chat to get help, But waited for about 20 mins next and didn't get even a single message next to my message in the chat. Frustrated, came here to ask for help. It's obvious I would miss today's 20x Drops but at least I can make some middle-ranked friends here whom I can ask for help in the next 20x Gold days! Or even It would be helpful in every matchmaking battle. When I'll get a favorite and suitable M3, I would no longer ask for help. I'm at least not like those P2W M4s that just want to kill and kill every puny tank coming in there way. 

 

So, I expect to make some friends here.

Do NOT try to catch meteorite golds. You will either end up self-destructed by meteorite, killed by a noob Fire or sniped by Smoky or Thunder.

 

When gold falls, hide, use peek-a-boo and kill as many enemies as possible.

 

Do you have M2 Titan or Hunter? They are somehow better for sniping than Viking.

My K/D got crashed from 0.90 to 0.89 because of the Christmas tree meteorite. I try to catch one, but never did.

*Can be* only for buyers. Bruh look at my profile, the crystals I earned are 1,131,155 even if you assume it as 2M crystals (Cuz of Missions and Goldboxes caught), the upgrades to M4 costs more than 1M crystals! And I have used those 2M crystals I earned in getting my account from Recruit to Marshal. M4 at Marshal is only possible for those who buy whereas I stated clearly in the topic title "Facing P2W players". And In my opinion, while it is wrong, I consider only Legend as the Top rank, becasue Legend rank keep on moving furthur, there is no limitation, it tells how much experienced those players are, some are Legend 60, some even 95!

I tried using a strategy where I equip equipment so that I would have a minimal GS upon entering a battle (so using m0s):

 

1. If everyone was lower ranked, I would switch to my top gear and wreck everyone.

2. If I spawn in with more higher ranked players, I would leave and give MMS another shot.

 

I do not recommend this unless it works for you. It worked for me about 60% of the time.

All about stupid algorithms of Matchmaking, they know what to do to make matches more fair, but they won't too, because they simply want to force you to buy crystal and kits for real money. which also is not fair cause they sale for Russia, Mexico and Poland, for 3 times less than other of the world.

 

What you can buy in Mexico for 1.5 USD, you buy it from Morocco or France... for 4 USD.

I don't remember what rank I was, still pretty low. I'd don my Hornet, load up my Peashooter, sometimes Railgun, go into a Marshal battle and collect the Blue Boxes that fell 5 at a time in each drop zone. In between time, I'd shoot at the enemy and occasionally I made a kill. I didn't do that very often, though because the Marshals started complaining about low rankers invading their battles to collect the crystal boxes. I say...Why not? They just sat there and after a minute of two, they would disappear. When I played maps intended for my rank, only one box fell at a time and there was usually a Mammoth sitting in the drop zones. The crystal boxes contained 10 crystals. Later, they contained 100 but didn't drop as often.
