Buffing Shaft

Hi

I am a primarily Shaft user, and I've been having difficulties for some time using it as time passed. Although I do not know if this is glitch or a feature, I wish to raise issue on this. In the garage, it says in arcade mode, it deals 514-587 damage for a fully upgraded M1 Shaft. However, in actual battles, if the enemy tank is 7 blocks away, it deals 79 damage which I think is ridiculous. 5 blocks, and it increases to 149 damage or so. at 2 blocks or less it deals 517 damage on average. Please fix this issue as it renders playing shaft in arcade mode useless. The damage should be constant regardless of the distance. Also, when I am making scoped shots, sometimes it would only deal 300~ish damage although usually it would do 1400+ damage.  Is this a glitch or intended feature? If so, I wish it would be changed because it makes playing shaft quite hard.

This is not a bug, but an intended balance feature. A few months ago developers decided to change Shaft a bit to make it less effective in arcade combat, since the sniper mode is supposed to be Shaft's primary mode of fire. So the arcade max damage range is very short and the damage starts to drop extremely quickly once you go beyond that. You can discuss game balance and suggest changes in this topic.
