Why are Isidas and Thunders noobs?

I play Isida a lot lately, and do turn my turret all the time. As Isida your the number 1 target for the enemy team, so danger is everywhere. And don't forget your teammembers who keep on asking to be healed. So you have to keep turning and looking for victims, and the enemy.

I was in a battle with a legend using thunder today, He wouldn't turn his turret but he did turn his hull slowly lmao.

I wonder why.

The Legend was sniping. I also sniped like this before I learned to turn my turret xD

True that. Grab a Shaft and learn to use Arcade shot.

I was actually good in using both modes of Shaft. Sniper and arcade. I often sniped enemies with arcade shots. When devs nerfed arcade shot range and weak damage (50%-25%), I switched to Rico. When they nerfed Rico range and buffed Smoky weak damage (10%-50%), I switched to Smoky and I really like sniping with Smoky.

Smoky is now as good in sniping as Thunder or Rail. It is even better with Incendiary rounds alt. I think that most Shaft players should switch to Thunder or Smoky because they can not use Shaft properly.

I thought Shaft was the noob Turret... At least it's what I remember people typing furiously at me in chat when I popped them left and right.

'KILL SHAFT!' is still something I see from time to time. I like it since there's always a couple who stop fighting for the flag and try to get revenge, helps the team get som nice wins.

Guess things change - I'M NOT A NOOB ANYMORE, woohoo! \o/

Don't worry, I stick to my precious Shaft!

Shaft is a noob turret only if you use it other than camping.

Oh, I don't always camp, often play mid-field and even attack for the flag sometimes.

Admittedly, I'm now much more proficient at it with the triple shot Alteration.

Damn me eyes, I'm still a noob.

Triple shot alt is garbage because you need to get close to deal serious damage.

If you also attack and mid-field, you should use Thunder or Smoky.

But it's a good way to fend off nearby enemies.

I beg your pardon!!! I am not a noob. I heal my teammates, first priority. You needed to put the word 'some' in your title. Such a blanket term, assuming all Isida and Thunder players are noobs. SHAME ON YOU!!!!

We consider Isida, magnum and thunder noobs because:

1. Isida always stays behind their teammate and NEVER comes out to battle...

2. Thunder users can't turn their turret.

3. Thunder has splash damage.

4. When you 1v1 against isida, most of the time isida will win because of the damage being done is such short amount of time.

5. Magnum just camps.

6. Magnum deals a lot of damage and has splash damage.

Solutions:

1. For going against an isida who is healing a teammate but your enemy is blocking the isida (Everyone does this.) Use railgun to shoot through the target, this will damage the isida but not very much so I'd recommend getting the alteration "Hyperspace rounds" which increases damage when you break through the target.

2. For going against thunder, use twins... trust me I use twins and I just wreck those noob thunders left and right.

ofc not when they are in groups tho

3. For going against magnum, use shaft, it can easily aim towards the magnum and snipe it.

A good Thunder or Smoky player who camps and rotates turret can easily wreck Twins and Shafts.

We consider Isida, magnum and thunder noobs because:

1. Isida always stays behind their teammate and NEVER comes out to battle... that's exactly how an isida is supposed to play in team battles. That's how it was designed, to heal their protectors.

2. Thunder users can't turn their turret. Well this statement is 100% false because I've used thunder many times and I turn my turret all the time. I've seen many other thunder users turning their turret all the time. The only times I do see thunders not turning their turrets, I always consider the situations, either they're on mobile, or they are actual noobs (which means they'll likely not turn their turrets for other turrets, not just thunder).

3. Thunder has splash damage. striker has splash damage too.

4. When you 1v1 against isida, most of the time isida will win because of the damage being done is such short amount of time. freeze can just freeze isida and not be too damaged, twins can just keep knocking isidas aim off, and firebird may die first, but unless the isida has repair kit ready to use, the afterburn will just claim it's life.

5. Magnum just camps. again, that is what the turret was designed for.

6. Magnum deals a lot of damage and has splash damage. again, striker has splash damage and can deal a lot of damage.

Solutions:

1. For going against an isida who is healing a teammate but your enemy is blocking the isida (Everyone does this.) Use railgun to shoot through the target, this will damage the isida but not very much so I'd recommend getting the alteration "Hyperspace rounds" which increases damage when you break through the target.or just use shaft and snipe out the isida, strikers salvos with cyclone or uranium alts and Double Damage can easily kill the isidas protector and maybe even the isida.

2. For going against thunder, use twins... trust me I use twins and I just wreck those noob thunders left and right. freeze can freeze thunder to the spot, firebird can burn it to a crisp, and smoky can beat it in an open area.

ofc not when they are in groups tho

3. For going against magnum, use shaft, it can easily aim towards the magnum and snipe it. try using magnum yourself

Next time think before coming to such ridiculous conclusions ;)

This is so true! Almost every Isida or Thunder I see does not know how to turn the turret. Sometimes it just blows my mind, how can someone be Legend 27 and doesn't turn the turret?

It's not good to assume that certain turret users don't turn their turret in general.

It just depends on the person. I've seen every kind of turret user not turn their turret in these ranks at least once.

I use shaft and wreck thunder everytime, smoky is more unpredictable with freeze alt or autocannon but will still mostly wreck it
