Why are Isidas and Thunders noobs?

I use shaft and wreck thunder everytime, smoky is more unpredictable with freeze alt or autocannon but will still mostly wreck it

This is so true! Almost every Isida or Thunder I see does not know how to turn the turret. Sometimes it just blows my mind, how can someone be Legend 27 and doesn't turn the turret?

To be honest I've never seen a thunder user unable to turn their turret. Maybe you are playing against mobile users, or maybe they are noob. Who knows?

Or they have a keyboard that suffers from ghosting.  Many do.

If I try to turn my turret while turning the tank, spacebar input is refused.  Yes, there's AutoHotKey, but I never managed to get that to install, let alone work.

Ergo I never bothered learning, and anyway I can turn the whole tank just as fast regardless.

I have ghosting in my keyboard TBH but only when I go forwards. Which is why you'll see me mostly going backwards.

 

It's also why I try not to die too many times in battle, because not only do I not like lowering my overall KD, but it becomes a hassle in correcting my tank over and over again.

That annoying moment at low rank when you need health and an isida next to you doesn't heal you. Happens to me a lot. 

It's not good to assume that certain turret users don't turn their turret in general.

It just depends on the person. I've seen every kind of turret user not turn their turret in these ranks at least once.

I hardly ever have my turret in 'center' position.

I've seen this myself. If you're using TO Mobile, just camp. Don't try to move around and attack. They said in v-logs that you can play in TO moblie as well as you do in PC, they've got to be joking.

I changed up down left right to u,j,h,k in keyboard settings

it works fine now

I can do most everything with z, x, c and the arrow keys. What I can't do is shoot and turn circles at the same time, like encircling a tank with Firebird. I still use z, x, c but switch from arrow keys to i, j, k, l. 

 

Suggestion: If you can, make a private battle with unlimited time (999) and try out several key combos and find which ones you feel comfortable with.

This guy sucks and his equipment sucks.

It's unbelievable that there are Generallisimo's who genuinly don't know how to turn their turret or use overdrive.

 

The guy was trying but it was such a miserable experience. He kept falling off cliffs without shooting to balance out..

You have this stupid knockback weapon so you better use it the way it's supposed to.

 

Why these players get put in Legend battles is beyond me, actually that counts for every Generallisimo but oh.

As said before, not turning turret is not an indication of dumbness because your keyboard can be one of those which won't let you turn your turret and fire, unless you're stationary.

 

That said, woohoo, at last I've found someone with a lower K/D than me!

I have also lower k/d than you because of all the crappy combos I used before Smoky buff. I even did not turn turret before a year...

 

Now I use M2 Titan Smoky and I am constantly improving my k/d due to excellent sniping capabilities of Smoky.

Looks like his main combo is Thunder/Hornet. I don't know if this player uses the anti splash alt. If not, then if the turret is used when jumping from a cliff his Hornet could receive massive damage. In my earlier days of using Thunder that very thing happened to me. I jumped off the second story of a building in Brest. I was using Hornet. When I jumped, I saw I was going to land wrong, fired off a shot and killed myself. Since then, Hornet has gotten a little more armor, but I suppose it could still happen.
