Welcome to Vulcan Isida Online

 

An oportunity missed to do something about the vulcan which already deals devistating damage on it's own and even worse with the incendiary band alteration. Now that isidas get 15 pts and better healing power, this is all we will see from now on.

 

Isidas don't get scoring from healing an overheating Vulcan. 

 

I can imagine a few might do so anyway - but not the majority.  I certainly don't dedicate myself to healing Vulcan's after I earned low scores in battles for doing that.

 

The real issue is Incendiary Band on m3 hulls/turrets.  At anything below m3 the Vulcan just self-destructs too often to use the alt.

And same for the smoky alt.  They are OP alterations and need to be tweaked.

Actually, Isidas are bad for players too. If tanks don't die as quickly due to being healed, the battle fund grows slower and therefore everyone gets less crystals at the end of the battle. Less Isidas = higher rewards.

This is bad apologetics man. You get rewards from Tanki for taking their side...and thats your motive.

 

           Isidas cost tanki money because we dont have to buy as man repair kits or drone kits.    Without Isida Magnum just became the best turret because in assault there no way to defend against 3 MAgnums pounding the base. AND the reduce the time for them to reload. This is horrible on every level and makes the game less desirable.

 

    They should refund my money for my Isida Kit and give me a Magnum kit since they destroyed what they sold me. That's theft. Tanki has so many competing games they really shouldnt be pushing people away from the game by destroying the kits they sold.

Isida changes: Good. If this change means that a vulcan backed up by an isida won't be undefeated for the whole match, then it is good. Let the isidas be able to heal somewhat, but not make the person they are healing invincible. Not sure about support nanobots though, will have a look at them later. 

Dude use your head. Dont just kill a turret that 1000s use as their primary turret because youre unable to kill a vulcan. Its not hard, Strike, Magnum, Another Vulcan, can kill them.

Tanki dramatically cuts player's income yet again...for most, by way more than half.

 

Now even a dedicated player that completes all missions every week will generate substantially less income.  But most players DON'T complete all the missions, especially the evil "Floater" mission.

 

Let's look at period of two weeks for a hypothetical casual player in three different systems of missions:

 

Before this upcoming update: yield 7 containers

week1  10/10 and 10/20 (ten missions completed) =  2 containers

week2  10/10 and 20/20 (ten missions completed) = 5 containers

 

After this upcoming update: yield 3 containers

week1  10/10 and 10/20 (ten missions completed) =  1 container

week2  10/10 and 20/20 (ten missions completed) = 2 containers

 

Older system before the split missions (after ten weeks): yield 8 containers

week1  at least one mission completed every day (7 missions completed) =  4 containers

week2  at least one mission completed every day (7 missions completed) =  4 containers

 

 

Wow!...from 7 or 8 dropped down to 3...that is dramatic!  OK, now and then a player will complete the floater mission and one more container is added, but we all know how often we complete a floater.  Another major decrease in game income...MAJOR.

Notice how in my post I never disagreed with you. I just said that regardless of whether or not developers benefit from there being less Isidas, players benefit from it too because of higher battle funds. And no, I don't get rewards for being on their side.

 

As for changing the items you bought - that's just how the game works. Things need to be updated and rebalanced all the time, so no matter what you buy, you can expect that item to be changed any day. It's in the game's EULA, which we all agreed to.

isida won't get any score from healing vulcan's self damage

You are forgetting the part where they give us more weekly containers.

If we get more weekly containers don't we also get more crystals from those extra containers?

The weekly container change is a real  kick in the teeth of the Tanki community, and they know it.

 

When they introduced these new missions in October, they said that the missions would be harder, but the rewards would be greater.  Well, that didn't last, did it?  Now we'll have the tougher missions, but fewer containers than we used to have before, when all we had to do was complete a mission a day for 7 days.

 

For anyone rank 10 (Sgt Major) or over, three missions are difficult to complete in a day unless you have a dominant tank and a couple of hours to spare. Weekly containers are simply no compensation for it. The only guaranteed way you can earn enough crystals in this game to be dominant is to be lucky with the big reward containers, and this update makes that a lot less likely.

 

So, does this make you all want to go and spend money in the shop? That's what it's designed to do.

Highways change sounds good, though I feel like the whole map simply doesn't belong in MM.

It actually doesn't, it's just annoying map, when I played for stars, everytime It got me into highways, i just left

yea but weekly containers is the same thing, just trash supplies, atleast with containers you have a chance of better rewards

They also contain guaranteed crystals.   

 

And the "chance" of better rewards - at least for me - has not been all that great.

Feels like they lowered the odds of getting something good compared to when they were first introduced.

Sorry tanki, but reducing the amount of containers we get is a terrible choice. What were the developers thinking? This will discourage players from playing. But they quietly sweeten the pain by offering a sale...

Please don't change the amount of containers or weekly containers. This change is one of the dumbest ideas ever and I have played the game for five years! Apart from that, balance changes are good, duplet is too powerful atm and isida needs a change.

I've spent a lot of time analyzing container rewards since they started, and they haven't changed as much as you suggest. Even though they have introduced many new paints, the chance of getting paint hasn't changed (it's around 7%) We have batteries (7%) and shot effects (2%) now, too, but the chance of getting crystals appears to have increased since October (now 30%). What we have fewer of is supplies (down from 59% to 45%), although I concede it may not seem like it when you get a run of 125xspeed boosts).

 

The big crystal rewards are rare. And now you'll have to play for twice as long to have the chance to win one.

Actually I prefer that. Since I use money and bought my Thunder M2 many years ago, and on the next day they DUMB it down beyond believe, that I promise myself NEVER, but NEVER waste money on TO again. Actually for 2 times now, o leave the game for about 1 year, before I play again.

 

It was fun to play in the very beginning. Now I only come, because I do not like to have an account active. May I delete it and bye TO, for good.... 

 

But If I have to pay, that would be the final incentive for me to leave, with or without TO account.

 

On the other hand, If you and me have to pay, who would be the cannon fodder for the paying sponsored cheaters?

Do you all realise that we are just a band of inconsequent son( Censored by Viking4s, 24 Jan 2019 - 18:20 ), and that TO can't care less about our opinion and they never come here to read whatever we write, right?

 

So... Why the effort to even come here complaint?

 

This is their game, they can do whatever they want, and there is no complain or public identity / consumer defense that protect players and say to TO, "hey that was not what players agree when they start playing". Revert or pay fines to continue using servers and not being shutdown / censored in some / any country.
