completed Supply boxes worth points and experience

I do not think that there would be any sabotage of any kind because those crystal boxes would only contain between 1 to 10 crystals, which means that most players would ignore them if they are located at a far enough distance. Players would prefer to get on with the battle, complete missions and perform other goals like capturing flags, balls and control points. Pick up boxes are a good choice for earning slightly more experience points, so I suggest them to be added for all ranks.

Then why are they needed at all?

They are needed as a small compensation reward and a small boost in ranking up. Around 10 XP points per box.

That's not how compensation works.

You need to do something to earn compensation.

You can use a drone to get extra battle points from using supplies or picking up supply boxes. Also, on lower ranks you have crystal boxes instead of supplies, which give you 15 experience when you pick them up.

I suppose there is some logic here, but what are the benefits of this? The only thing you get is slightly faster ranking up, but no the other hand this may encourage sabotage because some players will be going for all the supply boxes they see, rather than taking just what they need and leaving the rest for teammates. Also, this requires time to implement, and I don't see it being worth developers' time.

99% of players do already.. even when they already have that effect, and also when you use engi drone...
