Isida Alt Idea: Self Repair

Recommended Posts

Self Repair

vdl110.png

A third group of nano mass is created to channel through your tank and repair it slightly, they are activated upon healing an ally, the generator power was unchanged so standard destructive and support nanobots, range emitter, turret rotation, and the broad emitter lose some effectiveness to compensate for another group of nanobots.

+30 HP for every second of ally healing

Damage: -10%

Healing: -10%

Cone angle: -10%

Turret rotation: +10%

Range: -10%

Declined

Developers evaluated the self-repair mechanic to be bad for balance no matter how they approach it, so it was removed. We do not accept ideas for bringing back removed features.

why is this specific one to bad for balance? It has a very high price, a high rank, little positive effect, and noticeable negative decrement in various main parameters. Plus, this isn't vampirism like before, I didn't like that idea. Not to mention it should encourage isidas to heal their teammates more, not just for exp.

It's an interesting concept of giving a fixed number of regaining HP based on the duration of healing. The same concept could have been used based on the duration of damage, and not a percentage of the damage like it was long ago.

But I see one problem with your idea, it would encourage Isidas to camp behind other tanks and maybe stay there forever because it's self healing.

what point would they have by doing that? xD they'll never get any kills, no goals or caps either,

EDIT: should I remove the healing nerf cos it already got a big chunk taken out of it?

If they get points by healing and are healing themselves just by healing a friend i think some won't have the incentive to go on the attack, assist or defend.

Maybe if it's a smaller self heal both when attacking and healing, with a fixed percentage that doesn't get doubled with Double Damage, it could work, and it won't be a vampire thing like you said. Just my opinion.

You want High damage dealt per sec

You want to heal your team at high rate

You got pretty fast reload

And You want the vampire ability now. Good job. Don't join with the dev's by ruining the game by buffing magnum.

what? this idea is not a vampire effect

Please read the suggestion thoroughly before commenting.

This idea decreases damage per second,

This idea decreases team heal rate

and finally, This idea is not to bring back the vampire ability of Isida, but to have isidas help themselves by helping others.
